Vita a Mare ( Life at Sea ) is a large family holiday house situated on approx 700 sqm of land in peaceful Old Erowal Bay. We are just minutes drive to the iconic Hyams beach and the many tourist attractions the Jervis bay area has to offer such as Booderee National Park, Bird watch hiking trails, whale & dolphin watching cruises, the busy owen st strip of huskisson and much more. We are also conveniently located 2 min away from Vincentia marketplace for your everyday needs. Our home is a Balinese inspired retreat which can comfortably accommodate a couple of families. It is your home away from home with a large fully equipped kitchen, Powerful 7.6kw AIR CONDITIONING for Heating/Cooling, lounge room with 55inch Smart TV & NETFLIX! 3 bedrooms with built ins and a 4th games room with a card table, smart tv & board games. The entertaining area continues outdoors with a wicker set and 6 burner BBQ under a covered patio which flows into a large gated yard with a kids play set and an assortment of growing native and planted fruit trees. There is also an old mortar bbq which is now used as a fire pit for those long chatty nights. We also have an office space setup for those that need to work while away with a functioning wifi colour printer & Hi Speed NBN Wifi provided during your stay !

Linen is included in your stay as well as a Coffee Capsule machine and frother for your morning lattes.

There is an extra charge per person per night for any more than 4 guests.

A standard bond is to be paid in full with your final payment which will be refunded within 10 days after vacating the premises.
Note: An extra cleaning fee will apply if the property isnt returned in a similar state of which it was found.
A BBQ Cleaning fee will be applied if the BBQ is left unclean. (scrubbing brush & grime away are supplied)

Charming house in Old Erowal Bay

We had a lovely stay at Vita a Mare in Old Erowal Bay recently. The house is charming, clean and comfortable. Marianthe (the owner) was extremely helpful and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay!

Sweet but small

The house is cute and in a great location - just a short drive to everything. It was also a great price for peak period. Sitting under the fairy lights at night is beautiful. The pizza oven is a great addition. Negatives - The cleaners missed several major things so we advised the owners and that probably won't happen again. I think it's too small for the advertised 10 as the sofa bed is in the small lounge area which means people could not use the couches. I know that's in the detail but it's hard to work out the exact size of rooms with photos. We had to contact the owner for linen for the sofa bed even though we booked for nine. Would have been nice to have a couple of spare hand towels and bath mats as one didn't cut it with nine people drying their hands for one week. We had to go purchase more. Only four dinning chairs, a few stackable small stools would have meant more people could sit at once at the table. We couldn't use the cupboards due to the musty smell :-/ Sounds like a lot of negatives but a few little changes could make it a lot better and we were grateful for getting a place in such close location to all the beaches.

Wonderful home, better than pictures.

We had a wonderful time away at this home - the pictures don’t do it justice. Unfortunately we had horrible weather the whole time so couldn’t utilise the incredible outdoor space, but everything else was great. We did have to get a new gas bottle / lighter for oven but that was fine. Would stay again.

Fantastic birthday away

We had such a great holiday away with friends for my birthday. The house was in a great location and just what we needed. The only suggestion is to update your photos because we were surprised at how much nicer it was and looked from the photos. Overall great home!
