The hosts were very accommodating. The location is right at center so be aware of the noise at middle of night. The room unfortunately was not clean. I dropped a thing on floor and discovered the dusts accumulated under the bed a wrapper and dusts stuck on curtain floor the floor was filthy.

Really enjoyed our stay at Anne’s. It is in a perfect location in the old town to explore pintxo bars and a short walk to the beach. Room was spacious and comfortable. Needed to share bathroom with other guests however this was not an issue, as never saw other guests. Anne is the most friendly and kind host despite the language barrier! Bonus that she makes a delicious breakfast in the morning! Could not recommend Pension Anne enough!

It was clean, safe, right in the middle of town and the host, Anne, was very helpful and fun to talk to. She only speaks a little English, but is happy to muddle through your efforts at Spanish. Her daughter speaks perfect English and is sometimes available to help if you need to get something across. There have been reviews which spoke about the noise of the pension, with a bar in the courtyard below, but with the window closed there was not much noise at all in my unit and I stayed from a Thursday to a Tuesday. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and they do your laundry, which I was not expecting, but was very kind.

Lovely Pension in the old town.

The place is in a great location in the old town. The welcome was great and personable. Anne is very friendly and genuine. The breakfast was tasty and ample, plenty on offer. Anne is attentive to any requirements. I enjoyed my stay and the cosy nature of the place. Definitely recommended. Thanks Anne!

I would definitely book again!! Me and my guy just stayed there. I do not understand the awful reviews. First..it’s a 1 star hotel so know what you’re getting into. Our room had a bathroom, which we booked for so I was a bit surprised when they What’s App to say that they changed our room so we got one with bathroom. I’d check in with them via What’s App just to confirm what room was booked. They always promptly respond. Anne was beyond gracious!! Our breakfast every morning was stellar! She’s such a sweetheart!! She offered to do our laundry! So accommodating. Our room was so central we couldn’t be more happy. We stayed on the opposite last time so we enjoyed being in the thick of things. The room was no frill and clean. Noise wasn’t an issue. Yes it’s noisy but what isn’t there? Do you know what year those buildings were built? Bring earplugs! Thank you Anne!! I hope your arm heals well and it was an absolute please at your pension!

Cool little "hostel" style property in old town. The host Anne was awesome, she did some of our laundry and made breakfast for us and the other rooms each morning! We originally booked a room with a private bathroom but it was not available until the 3rd night that we were there so we used the shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and safe. Being in old town on the weekend it was definitely loud at night but nothing some earplugs couldn't fix.

Anna, wow

Anna our host is such a force of nature, she’s a hoot. Fun loving and full of life, she will answer all of your questions and if she does not know she will ask her relatives or friends for the answer. The room is simple but adequate, the breakfast is made to order with much of the produce coming from family and friends farms. It’s not a hotel but you are welcomed into a well run home. We will be back for sure.

Nice Pension

Good location for accessing tapas bars. Friendly service. Because service people are not always at the reception, we need to carefully communicate our arrival time. Because a tapas bar is just next the building, it is noisy but not so much. We slept well.

The only issue was arriving. After a long day of travel we arrived at the door and after 10 minutes no one answered. We had alerted them to our arrival time so it was concerning. We then called hotel.com and finally the son arrived and let us in. Otherwise it was a delightful stay. Our hostess,Anne was lovely and very accommodating.

We loved our stay, Anne is very hospitable and a real character. The apartment is located in the heart of the old town which is very convenient but on the downside be prepared for a lot of noise outside, we read the other comments and went prepared with ear plugs, which was fine. It could have been a little cleaner and some better pillows. The other thing was we didn't realise it was shared bathrooms.
