This was a lovely, quaint, enjoyable pension. Everything was clean. The host Anne was amazing. She goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful with delicious breakfast every morning, laundry service. The location is unbeatable for the best restaurants, good, and close to the beach, it is in a bustling neighborhood which can be loud but with the windows closed tight I could barely hear anything. The shower pressure was TOP notch! We would 100% stay here again in Donostia-SB. We felt like family. Highly recommend for the price and experience

Fun place. Ann was extraordinary. She was extremely accommodating letting us drop our bags early, she has many goodies stocked in the kitchen and even did our laundry. The place itself is in the heart of the old town. The rooms are very small, and it is a shared bathroom situation. We had a great time, but keep in mind this like a bit like a hostel for older folks. Not fancy at all.

The place itself is quiet but one side faces a square with cafes, and it can be noisy at night. Closing the windows and turning on the fan solved the problem. The ‘jefe’ Anne runs the place and she is great—very helpful, and she also supplied homemade cheesecake for breakfast, which was a nice touch.

We loved our stay, Annes hospitality was amazing! She was very helpful giving us tips on the best places in San Sebastian, along with doing our laundry and even managed to get red wine stains out of my partners white clothes. Thanks again Anne for everything!

The hosts were very accommodating. The location is right at center so be aware of the noise at middle of night. The room unfortunately was not clean. I dropped a thing on floor and discovered the dusts accumulated under the bed a wrapper and dusts stuck on curtain floor the floor was filthy.

Really enjoyed our stay at Anne’s. It is in a perfect location in the old town to explore pintxo bars and a short walk to the beach. Room was spacious and comfortable. Needed to share bathroom with other guests however this was not an issue, as never saw other guests. Anne is the most friendly and kind host despite the language barrier! Bonus that she makes a delicious breakfast in the morning! Could not recommend Pension Anne enough!

It was clean, safe, right in the middle of town and the host, Anne, was very helpful and fun to talk to. She only speaks a little English, but is happy to muddle through your efforts at Spanish. Her daughter speaks perfect English and is sometimes available to help if you need to get something across. There have been reviews which spoke about the noise of the pension, with a bar in the courtyard below, but with the window closed there was not much noise at all in my unit and I stayed from a Thursday to a Tuesday. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and they do your laundry, which I was not expecting, but was very kind.

Lovely Pension in the old town.

The place is in a great location in the old town. The welcome was great and personable. Anne is very friendly and genuine. The breakfast was tasty and ample, plenty on offer. Anne is attentive to any requirements. I enjoyed my stay and the cosy nature of the place. Definitely recommended. Thanks Anne!
