The place has potential but the out door seating were not clean. The room was horrible. When we checked into our room, the sheets appeared clean but the weren’t. We found clipping of nails in one bed and another a scrunchy and hair. The towels had a weird stench as if they were already used. The floors in the room were unclean. It seems like the room was not touched in weeks to be honest. The main entrance to the hotel was not good, all of our drivers had difficulty driving in and out. Not the best place at all.

Had an amazing time in El Salvador! 🌴 We stayed at The Reef on the Water and the staff was wonderful — very attentive and quick with food and drinks. The only downside is that you can’t bring any outside food or drinks to your room, and since the bar closes at 9pm it can be a little inconvenient. Other than that, everything was perfect and I’d definitely go back!

The Hotel is small, but pretty tidy. The room size was a bit smaller than expected. But the hotel is nice. The staff is really nice and helpful. I liked the pool and they have a nice food menu. The Bar staff was excellent and they make good drinks. Prices are also affordable. The breakfast was good and they have good fokd choices. I would definitely stay there again.

The pool directly next to water is so amazing. Beautiful views! We loved ordering food & drinks to our room and eating with the view of the ocean. Food and drinks were decent. The room quality was very low, showers always cold, broken toilet seat.

A wondefrul ocean front property. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Beatiful ocean view at reasonable price locayed a short walk from El Tunco. I love that is is not trying to be overly modern and fancy and feels like real surf stay.
