The Novo is convenient, fairly priced, is welcoming and the staff is very keen to please. On long stays breakfast could get a little boring

I was there for 10 days, have no complains but one, the area is pretty safe, close to stores and places to eat, the Hotel restaurant serves good food, fresh salad and always have room service if you want to eat in the comfort of your room, front desk personnel is polite as you should expect on any hotel. The only complain was two nights on the row there were parties at a hotel, one of them was a wedding, the music was loud and stopped at 11:00 PM so could not rest before that, even with that people seem to be well behaved which is always a plus after a party

During my second day of my five-day stay, I was bitten by some kind of insect , which I was never able to see. I informed the hotel's management of this situation, but they could only offer to change the sheets on the bed. There were no more available rooms at that time. This was a very disappointing stay. I thought that this would never happen to me at this particular location. I will never come back to this hotel.
Hotel Novo may have the best service in the entire continent. And it's not fake service either, groveling for tips or giving mechanical greetings. It's like being part of a family. The social areas are beautiful and there's a little pool that forms the centerpiece of extravagant tropical vegetation. The rooms are adequate, very clean, but a bit on the spartan side. I've stayed before in the suites, which have a kitchen and living room, and I recommend those for longer stays. This time, I had a room by the pool, and the outdoor space became my living room. The Internet was very spotty, and the hotel now has an annoying system in which one has to enter a code. The code changes and one evening, I was left without Internet because the desk didn't have any new codes (it eventually got me one). The breakfast buffet is delicious and hearty. The hotel is best for journalists, NGOs, and longish stays.
I was very pleased with the location of the hotel. I love the breakfast, even though they could have more choices as far as fruits offerings. very cozy......this is the fourth time I stay at this hotel.
This is a great place for people like me who love Ecological and Natural place to stay. Very quite and its restaurant have excellent local exotic food. Breakfast is good enough and this hotel have all the details of 5 luxury hotel such as Wake Up call, Security box and clean rooms.
Though the floor was not clean enough to walk on bare feet, the room was spacious for the price and had its convenient kitchen as well as all the necessities. The hotel is a bit away from old city center, but it has good, quiet and secure atmosphere.
Not a good hotel to stay if you are only spending the night and need to go back to the airport the next day, what you save on the room rate is lost when paying for the taxi to and from the hotel.
