My husband and I stayed here for two nights just last weekend and we cannot fault it in anyway. We got a fantastic deal of £100 per night through Booking.com including breakfast so great value for money for such a lovely hotel. The hotel is beautifully done, not massive so almost has a 'boutique' feel and look about it. It has a gorgeous atrium and the décor and colour scheme is really lovely. We were extremely pleased when we walked into our room, we booked a standard double and it was huge! It had a large entrance area with sink and mirror, separate shower cubicle and toilet. We had a lovely 'lounge' area with a large table and sofa, a TV that swiveled so you can watch it on the sofa or in bed! The bed was huge and one of the most comfortable hotel beds and pillow I have ever slept on, the husband agreed too! The hotel is very peaceful too so you will get a good nights sleep! There was a bath behind the bed right by the window so you can choose to soak in the bath whilst gazing out at the boats and sea! (FYI the windows are mirrored so no one can see in!!) Breakfast was a buffet, with cereal, fresh juice, Nespresso coffee machines, bacon, eggs, beans and fresh pastries, bread etc etc, great choice. You can sit on the terrace for breakfast which overlooks the marina, absolutely lovely! There is a separate restaurant underneath the hotel, which serves fantastic pizzas! There is also a Tapas restaurant. The staff were very polite, helpful and welcoming. We have friends who live in Soto Grande and when we can't stay with them we will MOST definitely stay at Club Maritimo, loved it!

An awesome place to stay from beginning to end. Great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, superb breakfast overlooking the Marina. Great inhouse restuarant, Midas, with delicious food. Finding the hotel via your car GPS can be difficult as the hotel is situated in a Marina and Garmin does not have the roads listed. However, if you follow the directions for Restuarante Midas, you will get to the hotel.

Very special room on 2nd floor (of 3 floors) facing the port, bathtub in front of the main window and I could take my morning bath and enjoy the activities in the port. Hotel in a wonderful and unique setting, wellkept and built around a hugh central opening filled with flowers and sculptures. The hotel is very clean and has a great and professional staff who would certainly go the extra mile for you to make your stay enjoyable. Generous and welltasting breakfast with absolutely everything. Breakfast room has a terrace overlooking part of the port with a great view of the Gibraltar Rock 30 kms away. Restaurant on ground floor is very good and tasty but there is a great restaurant (Cafeteria KE)100 meters from the hotel which I strongly recommend. The hotel has bicycles should you wish to go to e g the Octogono Beach Club (having a nice restaurant). The hotel offers discounted prices and towels for those going to the Octogono Club, but please note that the prices for a sunbed at the club varies according to season and prices in high season (August) are extreme. The 5 days left me with very many happy memories and it was indeed sad to leave. I am looking forward to return!

some rooms are dangerous. for people with reduced mobility. due to the different levels in the room. one risks to drop on the floor. up down up and back. do not break your neck in the darkness. staff is friendly.

We stayed here for 2 nights. I requested a quiet room with nice views, and I certainly got it! Room 220 had a lovely view. The room itself is not so big, and the bathroom is a walk-through one, but the shower was very good. What I did miss a little was a balcony, but certain rooms (suites?) have them. The breakfast was lovely with lovely views from the terrace. A big plus were the bicycles that we were allowed to use.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and returned in March. We had a lovely spacious suite overlooking the harbour which was very comfortable. The staff are great and there is a wide selection for breakfast to suite all tastes. We cannot complain about anything in this hotel and would recommend a stay if visiting Sotogrande as the location is fantastic and allows you to walk to all the fabulous restaurants in the area.

another great stay in sotogrande hotel staff are fantastic and very friendly, had an upgrade and late check out thanks to slh and the breakfast was really nice. They have a lovely onsite restaurant with terrace and the food is really good.

We stayed here 3 nights in November and enjoyed it very much. The staff was friendly and helpful, although the reception could work a bit swifter. We upgraded to a suite since we had a 1,5 year old toddler and the room we should have had had a step and was too small with cot and a buggy. It was the best decision we could have made, the suite is big, it had a small kitchen, so we took take-away for dinner a few times. And it has a big terrace overlooking the harbour witch made our stay! I was able to walk to the beach with our boy in the buggy each day, it´s a nice 20 minutes walk. The breakfast was very nice, fresh eggs to order. Overall a very good experience!

If this place has just opened after being closed for a break they could have used the time to spruce up the rooms & do something bait the poor maintenance. Our room (212) had the most amazing view & location but it was tired & this is just the start of the season. The chair in the room had one leg about to fall off, the red book shelf was chipped, the cream carpet was tired & the wall just going into the shower was smashed!! Apart from that it was an ok room at £100 a night low season. Not good. Great shower & bathroom space. Breakfast was good but lacked service. Food though was very nice. Check in was very good, nice man. Early access to room was very welcome. The smell of sewage in the public areas is disgusting & badly needs sorting. Please do something with this hotel, it could be amazing. It certainly is not a 5 star hotel but it has such great potential. What a location!

rooms could be cleaner and there is a lingering smell of sewage in the room...Location is great, view is great, but services not up to desired standard. Yet for Sotogrande, this is about as good as you can get or expect
