Hidden Jewel is a true Hidden Jewel. It's a beautiful resort with amazing staff. The staff is welcoming and true amazing. I had a wonderful experience ☺️. Great for families. And the food is excellent. But overall the staff made it feel like home.

Not Our Favorite

We wanted to like this property, but my partner and I agreed that we would not stay here again. Staff were very friendly, but we didn’t like the overall accommodations. Sargassum was bad which is out of their control, but there was construction at the beachfront that I could not exactly figure out what they were doing. The back seating area of our cabana was adjacent to the restaurant, so I felt it didn’t give adequate privacy. Also, cushions on the outdoor furniture were worn and uncomfortable. Pool area was ok, but we prefer an adult only hotel to avoid screaming kids. I blame myself for this because I should have selected an adult only hotel. During our stay, one of the properties on the entrance road was burning the lot for clearing two of the nights, so there was a heavy smoke smell. We had a three night stay and our room was never cleaned, but our towels were changed . The hotel is at the northern end of the Ambergris Caye, so the area is nice if you want to be out of the hectic main town.

working on beach, which is a good thing, alot going on. the room that we had was near the dining, so no outside privacy. Was not really impressed that people from other resorts could use the pool if they ordered drinks or food. The staff was the best part of the whole experience. They were so friendly, hardworking, knowledgeable, so very nice. The food was very good

A true hidden jewel

This is truly a hidden jewel and will be back with the entire family. The bar and restaurant on site was amazing and had great selection and specials you really didn’t have to go anywhere else to eat and drink. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

Best hotel stay I ever had

It was probably the best hotel experience I ever had and I have travelled several times. Heyda before the trip went above and beyond to assist me in any way possible to prepare for my trip. The room and hotel is just stunning. The restaurant had amazing food. And the best part is probably the staff. They were so kind and courteous. I would recommend anyone staying in San Pedro to go to this hotel.

Sitting either on my little deck or on a lounge chair by the beach having my morning cup of tea was bliss! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! Heydi was extremely helpful setting up anything we needed or wanted to do. The food was delicious. And the bar staff was amazing! Thank you Hidden Jewel!!!

Our stay at Hidden Jewel Boutique was nothing but amazing!!! My mom and I came to San Pedro for her birthday and we had a blast. The staff was so attentive from the house keepers, to the bartenders, front desk staff, waiters/ waitresses and the grounds keepers. Everyone was so kind and informative anytime we had questions. They treated us like we were family and the food was delicious at the Tropical Escape Restaurant, on the hotel premises. It was our first time in Belize and we are already planning another vacation to come back!!! Hidden Jewel Boutique Hotel definitely receives a 5 out of 5 from us!!!

This property had caught my attention some time ago but previous reviews of the bumpy road had given me second thoughts, that's subjective, if this hotel is available, book it and you won't be disappointed. All the staff are so very welcoming, Tanica, Chris to mention a few, the drinks are out of this world and the accommodation perfect, I loved listening to the rain on the thatched roof. I had a massage in my room and genuinely enjoyed hanging out around the beach and pool.

We loved the Hidden Jewel the staff was great and fun! Rocking Ronnie and Jirel along with all the others we had good time and The food was very good we had several meals on the property. The Pizza was delicious. We stayed in room 1 and the view was amazing, watching the sunrise and the warm steady breeze was nice. The room was beautiful. The one thing I did was use the bed curtains and draped them over the top of the bed above us to protect us from falling droppings while we were sleeping, unfortunately with the thatched roofs there are lizards that live up there and their droppings fall on the bed and floor which housekeeping came and cleaned daily. Uncontrollable it’s just the nature of the lizards and that type of roofing. Thatched roofs are also part of the Caribbean Charm.

This is a gorgeous property removed from the traffic and crowds. The staff are warm and attentive. The pool and beachfront are gorgeous. And the dining is exceptional. I've had some of my best meals of my entire trip across Belize here.

A real hidden jewel

The room we booked was beachfront and very spacious. The staff was so attentive and kind. Food in the restaurant was also delicious. We happened to meet the owner family who were so nice. The beach was far from the crowded area of San Pedro and water was so clear. You can snorkel and kayak using the equipment provided by the hotel.

Decent spot

Property is okay. It’s quite far north on the island which means it’s quieter (good) but involves a long drive on poor roads. Note that it’s fairly buggy in the area. Staff try hard and are pleasant. It’s a solid 3 star hotel. I would definitely rather stay at hidden jewel than close to San Pedro.
