I loved Quinta Adela. Bonito was such a nice person. Always smiling. So helpful. I had some issues with my airport pick up. He was so nice to help Me out. He is always around. I am from Canada and I am used to good hotels I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the bed was. And they cleaned my room every day. It’s super close to Caracoles street where everything is. Just a 5 minute walk. The room was clean, bed comfortable and there is a community living room where you can store your beer etc in a large fridge. I would recommend this hotel/hostel to anyone. The breakfast had fruit, cereal, juice, coffee. Perfect for those hot days. Enjoy.

This was a great place to stay for a week in San Pedro de Atacama. The location was extremely convenient (a 5 - 10 minute walk from most tour offices). The host, Luciano, was very welcoming and patient with my limited Spanish.

Great Stay - Gracias!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is rustic, like being at the cottage, I mean this in good way. Luciano is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is do it yourself which we really liked. There is a shared kitchen that you can use to make your own basic meals. They have very good bikes for rent and are very helpful for offering recommendations. The place is quiet, away from the noisy area but still within a few mins walking distance to all the restaurants and tour operators. It was warm in the rooms and we didn’t need any heat.

Located just outside the noisy centre, easily walkable for all fitness levels. Area was noisy at night mainly from barking dogs in the vicinity, it being too warm to shut windows (no Aircon). Little english spoken so had to use an app at the accommodation. Good breakfast, including eggs if wanted. Clean and adequate, but basic for the price.

Good place near the centre

Room was warm. Plenty of hot water. Good parking. Wi-Fi was fast. The owner was great and the breakfast filling and delicious. Overall a great stay and recommended. Only negative (and a super frustrating and inconvenient negative) was the hotels.com website had charged us prior to our stay but the office clerk tried to charge us again. Only after trawling through 6 months of my credit card statements was I able to convince Him that I had already paid.

Wonderful Host

Had a great stay. The host is very friendly, from the region, and very knowledgeable. Gave us great advice on places to go and we had wonderful conversations over coffee. Would definitely go back!

Not luxurious but clean, and friendly abode

We had enjoyed our stay here. Check in was informal and easy. The room is clean and bed comfortable. Do not expect luxury - words of the owner and we did not so enjoyed our stay and anything above it is a bonus, eg the staff very friendly and the room cleaned everyday. WiFi worked very and there was plenty of hot water. The owner, Jose Miguel is a big and kind hearted mam, friendly, helpful and unassuming.

Assistant manager was wonderful; she had lived in the U.S. and her English was excellent, very helpful. Good basic breakfast. Quiet and safe setting. Very clean rooms and large bathroom. Only a few blocks from the busy commercial street. No fan or AC. WiFi was intermittent, but apparently that was a city-wide problem during my visit. Ask about a hot air balloon ride by late 2017.

Fabulous place!

It was a pleasure staying here. The family owners are absolutely lovely and make the stay fabulous. The place had hot showers, strong wifi, fabulous breaky and nice areas to chill in plus it was walking distance from all the good places to see. I highly recommend it.

Very comfortable stay

Very comfortable stay at the Quinta Adela Hostel. It is is exactly as it says - simple, comfortable and clean. Basic facilities, but exactly what you would expect (it may seem expensive for what you get, but this is the going rate for a hostel in San Pedro. The location was perfect -very quiet and only a 7 minute walk from the Main Street. Jose was a very friendly and helpful host. Breakfast was simple, but perfectly adequate. The room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean, good shower and plenty of hot water. Wifi worked well in the room and in the common areas. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would recommend Quinta Adela.

Suspect this hotel is on a par with many in San Pedro de Atacama. Main problem was erratic hot water supply - including non-existent at times. Location is not bad. Room was clean, and breakfast was OK. Manager was helpful with transport arrangements.

Comfortable stay in San Pedro, recommended!

Jose is a great, helpful host who can book tours, transfers if you wish. Very clean & comfortable room, great show and bed. Nice breakfast. In a quiet area about 6 minutes from the main drag. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay just 5 minutes from the main street. Very comfortable apartment with good bed and shower etc. Wifi, TV, good breakfast. Thanks to Jose for making us so welcome. Highly recommended.

Good value, excellent service!

Very pleasant stay. Room was average but what made this a wonderful experience was the great service. Jose set us up on two tours prior to our arrival so that when we got there, everything was handled. Plus the airport transfer option from Calama is great. No hassles or worries. San Pedro can be a pricey place in general but in comparison, Quinta Adela was pretty good value Only a 5-10 walk to the main part of town so very conveniently situated.
