I'm not a vegetarian, but the food was delicious! The chef was so kind! I loved the activities and the guys that were in charge of them were very friendly and joked around to make us feel less scared. :-D The only problem was that our activities scheduled was changed a couple of times and we ended up doing almost everything the same day we were checking out! That was tiring and because of that there was a 1 week delay with the delivery of the pictures. In general, it's a great opportunity to take for the price! I would go back and recommend it. Advice: If you're allergic to cats, take your medicine because there are a lot of them! From a Costa Rican living in Costa Rica. ;-)
Lands in Love We stopped there on our way back to SJ, we spend about 3 hours there, eating delicious vegan lunch, visiting their rescue center and hotel. Great people, dedicate their life to save and heal pets, we saw some pictures of before and after, that brought tears in my eye, this people are angels in human body! Hotel was so unique and had a different vibe, lots of activities that you can do there. very relaxing and peaceful place that surrounding with the evergreen forest. defiantly we will be back! Pura Vida land in Love- Keep up the good work that you are doing, Blessings from all of us!
Stopped here for lunch and were surprised at the cost! $36 for an "okay" veggie lunch and 2 fruit drinks...that was for 2 people! Yikes....eat at Soda Las Rocas just up the road in Bajo Rodrigues: north on Route 702 about a mile on the left side of the road for a more reasonably priced veggie lunch with great fruitas!
We stopped at the restaurant on our way to Arenal. We weren't expecting a vegetarian and vegan friendly at a place like this. The food was amazing. We ordered Israeli, Chinese rice, Pad Thai, smoothie and every single item was delicious. We loved the food so much that we stopped on our way back too. Our family members are not vegetarian but even they loved the food. My brother-in-law has travelled the world and he said the Chinese rice here is better than any place he has eaten before. People are friendly, ambience is quiet and very cozy. You will love this restaurant.

A perfect place for canopy and animal loving people. The place is a vegetarian place with excellent and very special food, led by a group of Israeli nature loving group. The food is awsome. Great atmosphere and interesting idea behind: Healing dogs and cats. There are more than 280 dogs which they are taking care. Also we used theur Tour operator servieces, and all our 10 days trip was orgenised by them. Don't miss their activity experience . We did Rafting and Canoying. Also their have horse riding and more. Go and enjoy.
We love our stay there That was excellent experience We appreciate your efforts to rescue animals The food was Israeli tasty with local taste The canopy is the best experience that we can have We recommend "Lands in Love "to everyone who came travel in Costa Rica
An extra-ordinary place in the middle of the jungle. A perfect place for canopy and animal loving people. The place is a vegetarian place with excellent and very special food, led by a group of nature loving group who will welcome you very warmly. The rooms are too simple, and less pleasant - but functional, although an A/C is certainly required there! Keep up and improve the rooms, and the hotel will attract much more people- I am sure.
We were starting a zip line tour and had breakfast and lunch at this amazing oasis in the jungle. We had a brown bag breakfast, the restaurant is vegetarian so the sandwich was on thick hearty brown style bread with egg and cheese, tomato and a dressing, there was a banana and drinks (coffee, tea and such). From there we went zip lining for several hours and returned for lunch. We were welcomed back to the restaurant and lunch was a special menu for tour persons. We chose vegetarian spaghetti bolognaise and the falafel. Amazing, huge servings, great taste and service. Even after hours of zip lining we could not finish our food. Drinks included amazing local coffee. This is part of a hotel which looks amazing but did not get to explore much as we headed back to our condo directly after lunch.
One of the best meals in CR, but not "tipicos." The seitan wrap is the best we have ever had...and we've been eating them for 10 years now...washed down by a shared milkshake. If only we left room for the chocolate cake. The chief/dining room manager has been there and does a great job...dedicated to your enjoyment. We've also hosted family meals there and all the very picky "adult children" have raved about the food; and that's not easy for us to manage!
