The host promised to send directions Friday but did not until the day we arrived and then send a general tourist neighborhood no specific address until prodded multiple times. They then sent the name of a hotel even though the listing says apartment. Since this happened to someone in November as well we believe it is a fraud and that VRBO should have taken it down after the first incident.

We did not have the proper directions and the host had not responded to a request for check-in instructions so we had no hope to contact him for directions. We contacted VRBO and they cancelled the reservation, which left us scrambling for a place for the 6 of us and 2 dogs to stay. It's really too bad because the place looked beautiful on the website. Hopefully they will fix the directions and be more responsive.
