This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of San Ignacio. There are many restaurants, vendors, grocery stores, markets, etc within a 1-5 min walk from the property. The rooftop pool and shaded lounging areas, are a great place to chill and beat the heat. I’d recommend this location to other budget minded travellers. Thank you!

Our room didn’t have any toilet paper so we had to ask the front desk for some. The hot water didn’t work very well so we had to take some cold/lukewarm showers. The water went down very slowly in the shower so we had to wait a while before the next person showered. The bathroom had a really strong sewer like smell so we had to keep the door closed at all times. If we needed anything the front desk was really helpful.

We enjoyed our stay there. In a good way, super simple but sufficient. Centrally located so one min walk go to most tours. The room is clean and spacious and staffs are friendly and helpful. They provided banana and coffee for breakfast. Good hot shower. No Kleenex in the room. Their rooftop is a big plus for us with a 10 yo, especially the pool. It is not big but big enough for us to have some fun, has a nice view of the area and provides some reclining seatings. We felt refreshing after our tours to Maya ruins.

The first room had a problem with the plumbing, apparently a common problem at this hotel. The staff gave us a "better" larger room. The service was adequate. Let's be honest - this is really mostly a backpacker hotel. Nothing wrong with that - but expect that it's kind of clean and some things work and some things may not work or work well.

This location suited our needs for the single night we spent in San Ignacio. The AC, fan, and TV were fully functional. One negative issue was the shower curtain is too short and there was water on the floor after showering.

Didn't have a car on this trip but they have a nice secure garage. Room was clean and comfortable. I'm spoiled by normally having a coffee maker in the room in the USA. They did have two coffe pots in the lobby but you had to get there early to get some. Property could use some updates. Staff was very friendly & helpful in accepting a package of souvenirs dropped off for me. Because of the location in the middle of San Ignacio, it is an ideal place for shopping, dining & people watching. Taxi's are available less than 2 blocks from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Really enjoyed my stay here so much I booked another 5 days. Staff are very nice Room is very clean and comfortable & the air conditioning is excellent. Parking is on property and guarded. If I return to this area, I would definitely stay here again for the price, cleanliness & excellent staff.

this is a very basic hotel. It's right in the center of town, so really convenient for doing any of the local tours from. It's supposedly on the main/busy tourist street of Burns Ave. But it was really a rather quiet area with not much happening on any of the days we were there. The room was clean but was rather rundown, horrible lighting, poorly built shower that let all the water escape and soak the floor....I didn't want to spend any extra time around the hotel than I needed to. They're doing renos to the rooms on the ground floor of this place, so maybe things will be more modern and fresh looking in the future.
