Family visit

We stayed 5 nights at the Duchessa while visiting family in San Giovanni. The hotel staff was very accommodating and treated us like family! The on site restaurant was a delight! The food was excellent and the service as well. The cafe was nice if you wanted a cup of coffe or tea or a glass wine. The sandwiches and pastries available as well! We will stay there again when we return to visit family

Painful experience

-Location is next to national park of Sila, but is a hotel welcome by loads of locals -patio facing main streets and have been noisy till midnight -staff do NOT speak English -water system of the whole hotel turned down during our stay but incompetent staff referred us to another room for showering. -breakfast is simple with only stuff croissant and coffess

Nice hotel in small town

Stayed four nights and room was very comfortable and staff very helpful. The breakfast was an Italian one which is not what we are used to but it was adequate.

Ottima la posizione, belle le camere spaziose e dotate di arredi confortevoli, comodo anche il bagno, purtroppo il servizio lascia molto a desiderare in quanto completamente lasciato in balia di parenti e/o amici del gestore senza un minimo di professionalità. Negativo il servizio colazione, dove vengono offerti prodotti di bassa qualità e addirittura allucinante la possibilità di richiedere l'aria condizionata non permessa direttamente ai clienti ma da richiedere ogni volta alla reception.

DA MIGLIORARE

Assenza di personale al ricevimento in arrivo ed anche un paio di volte successivamente, il tutto regolarizzatosi dopo richieste di intervento agli attigui bar e ristorante. Il bagno non era del tutto pulito. La colazione, per qualità e varietà, permette di dare un giudizio che non va oltre la mera sufficienza. Peccato perchè la struttura alberghiera è moderna, e dotata di camere spaziose e confortevoli.
