Great location but… not hotel
My daughter and I loved the photos of how the rooms looked, but upon arrival we realized a few things and it just kind of continued downhill.
First, the room is SMALL. Like jail cell small and the bathroom sink fits the same description. I couldn’t brush my teeth without banging my arm against the shower. (Which the water was too hot one day and freezing the next, couldn’t take a real shower before leaving)..
First night, room was uncomfortably warm, but I couldn’t have the window open without the loud bar folk filling the room with a variety of smoking smells.
It’s a very old building, so I understand space being small.. though a fan in the room would have been nice so we wouldn’t have to choose between smoke and loud people or being comfortable.
Lastly, I put a do not disturb sign on the door as I do not like people going into my room until check out but they decided to put that door hanger back into the room and ignore the request.
I’m highly unimpressed and wish I could have taken my daughter elsewhere more enjoyable.
If you’re a single person just looking for somewhere to sleep, sure. I’d recommend a hostile instead though.
We will not be staying here again.
(Also if steep sketchy stairs are your thing, this place has got them)
