Set on one level, the Holiday Apartment Il Borgo is a delightful apartment on the second floor of an elegant period building.
Perfect for couples and families, it is equipped with every comfort you expect in a home.
Ideal for visiting the Valgrande National Park, nature excursions, cyclotrekking, or even just for relaxation.
Located on the heights between the two lakes (Maggiore and Mergozzo), it is a few km from the city of Verbania and is located 40 km from the border with Switzerland.

It has a large double bedroom, a lounge with TV, Wi-Fi, and a double sofa bed, a dining area and kitchenette with full appliances and a bathroom with shower and washing machine.
The numerous openings on three sides make it very bright and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the village of Bieno and the surrounding mountains and forests.

We will be present for check-in and check-out directly at the apartment, but we will remain at your disposal for any need for the duration of your stay.

Lovely Apartment but...

The Apartment itself was very nice. We like being in the "real" neighborhoods instead of touristy areas. But, what was not mentioned, is due to a water shortage. The community turns off the water to the village at night!

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattet und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Gastgeber hatten sogar den Kühlschrank mit notwendigen Sachen für den Anfang gefüllt und auch Gewürze, Kaffee, Tee und Kuchen waren vorhanden. Über die Wohnung kann ich nur positiv berichten. Leider gibt es in der Nähe der Wohnung nur wenige Parkmöglichkeiten, die auch nur mit viel Glück mal frei sind. Man kann unten an der Hauptstraße parken, hat dann aber, für ältere Leute, zu denen wir gehören, einen beschwerlichen Aufstieg zur FeWo. Die Gassen dorthin sind total eng, wenn einem ein anderes Auto entgegen kommt kann man nicht ausweichen. Zur Wohnung gehört auch eine Garage, durch die Einfahrt zum Hof und das Garagentor passen aber nur ziemlich kleine Wagen, für Biker jedoch ideal. Außerdem hatten wir das Pech, dass wegen des Regenmangels die Gemeinde das Wasser nachts abgestellt hat, einmal bei 39° auch schon um 17 Uhr. Dies war nach dem schweißtreibenden Aufstieg schon sehr ärgerlich. Aber dafür können die Vermieter nichts, die Wohnung und die Gegend am Lago Maggiore sind traumhaft schön und immer wieder einen Urlaub wert.

Super schöne Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber, groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist top, es war alles vorhanden, was man gebraucht hat. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Gegend. Die Ferienwohnung liegt im Ortskern von Bieno, dass heißt es gibt niedliche kleine Gassen, die typisch italienisch nicht sehr breit sind. Wer ein Auto größer VW Golf hat, hat hier Probleme und kann auch die Tiefgarage nicht nutzen. Hier hat der Vermieter uns Tipps gegeben, wo wir im Ort parken können. Von Bieno aus kann man viel unternehmen. Man ist schnell in den Bergen, hat es aber auch nicht weit zu einer sehr schönen Badestelle am San Bernadino oder an den Lago. Die perfekte Abwechslung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. 👍

Wandern zwischen Lago Maggiore und Lago di Mergozzo

Wunderschön, liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit 2 kleinen Balkonen. Während unseres Aufenthalts Mitte Oktober ganztägig Sonne. Wohnung ist auch für die kältere Jahreszeit geeignet. Heizung funktioniert wunderbar. Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit können wir nur weiter empfehlen

Ein Domizil,das alles hat,was man braucht und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ist.

Die ländliche und landschaftliche Idylle wird leider getrübt durch das ausgiebige Glockengeläut von gleich zwei Kirchen - auch durchgängig nachts, nicht nur zur vollen,auch zur halben Stunde.

Ferien in den Bergen und am Lago Maggiore

Wir haben während drei Wochen die Ferien in der Wohnung und in diesem wunderschönen Feriengebiet genossen. Die grosszügige Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Ort Bieno(nicht weit von Verbania, sehr nahe an den Wandergebieten des Val Grande) liegt ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in diesem attraktiven Gebiet. Auch nach drei Wochen haben wir noch nicht alles gesehen. Die Gastgeber waten sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Ein Ort an den wir wieder zurückkommen wollen.

gute Wohnung - etwas abgelegen

Es war alles in der Wohnung vorhanden, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Vermieter sehr freundlich. Wohnung ist ideal für drei bis vier Personen. Im Ort Bieno hat fast jeder Haushalt einen kleinen Wachhund ;-) die sich gerne melden.
