the shower leaked and the bracket was almost falling off. the beds are possibly the most uncomfortable cheap thing I've ever slept on, resulting in constant neck pain. the shower leaks which then directs into the bedroom. the kitchen is underequipped to even make breakfast. also not that it is by any means the fault of the hotel but remember to pack mosquito repellent, you get eaten alive as it's so close to the lake. would never book again

We arrived at Dunv Oasis a 6.30pm on a Sunday evening. Check in was a breeze and we were taken to our ground floor, 1 bedroom apartment by a lovely lady at reception. Delighted with the accommodation, spacious and comfortable, also ideally situated for the beach, restaurants and shops. Whilst the apartment is not luxurious, it is clean and equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. The owner, visited and introduced himself also leaving a bag of fruit, which was an enormously kind gesture. I would recommend Duna Oasis and will return

Upgraded to a superior appartment which cost around £150 extra for 2 weeks. Specifically asked for a 1st floor or higher on health grounds but was placed in a ground floor which was damp and musty although very spacious and obviously a superior appartment . Took 3 days to get moved and was then moved to a 1st floor standard appartment....no rebate, won't use again, shame because the location is excellent. Staff very good except last day on check-out when I asked for a rebate, the guy on duty spoke so little English I had no chance of getting him to understand my concerns. Booked through Booking.com and sent feedback to them but they didn't reply so I won't use them again either.

excellent in every way. apartment well set up well appointed and superbly situated just next to beach. Staff helpful and welcoming. shop nearby and small private swimming pool, shop nearby selling everything

fantastic apartment had ground floor that i was not happy about at frist but when i see it had bars on very window i was happy . had a big garden all to my self with 2 swiming pool next door and right on the beach and shops only 5 minute walk away . cleaner came every day apart from trursday and gave me clean towels ; it was more like a 4 start not a 2 . will be back next year . the only thing that it didnt have was a safe in my apartment but no money went missing so saved me 15 euro anyway.

So, we picked this place due solely on location, ie a gnats whisker from Maspolamas beach, I paid the extra for a superior apartment, but really wasn't expecting much, however regarding the apartment we definitely landed on our feet. Perfect location, two storey wonderfully clean spacious apartment. A proper glass topped electric hob and oven! (no microwave). Kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, washing machine, drying rack, washing up liquid and cloths etc. Large Sony TV (but as always only German and Spanish channels), and Sky News. Bathroom was big, clean, had a bath with shower. Bidet, toilet, sink, towels, large mirror, they provided loo roll and half decent hairdryer. Bedroom, an actual double bed! Wardrobe with lots of coat hangers, drawers, bedside lights etc. This apartment was so well equipped I suspect it might be owned and rented out. Now the terrace downstairs is lovely with a garden area, and we provided water in a bowl to the birds that visited every morning (love my nature). Table and chairs and sun loungers, also up the stairs from the garden area leads you straight to the beach. Perfect! There's a pool just down the road back towards the reception area, (we never used it), and a little shop (but my husband got charged different prices on two different days, and refused to go back there). So why not 5 stars??? 1) The pillows and mattress, firm, and thought it would be comfy, but wowsers I need a chiropracter when I get back, it's given me pretty bad neck and back ache, something I'm not prone to (mayb it's age) 2) - and this is NO fault of the apartment but opposite they're building a RIU 4* All Inclusive Hotel. Directly opposite the terrace side is the site entrance, and to the right is an large (very large hotel), it's noisy, I mean really noisy, everyday btn 8am-7pm. While this is being built you will not get any quiet time on your terrace. I'm sure once the building is finished this place will be an oasis of calm again. Cleaner comes in every two days, does a good job - doesn't wash up (and I don't expect her too, that's our job) 😁 Would I come back?? Absolutely!!, especially if I could secure this apartment or one similar.

Great experience, apartments in very good condition, a spectacular service, 100% recommendable. Very close to the beach, we had an apartment with sea view without requesting it, we had a very pleasant surprise.

We arrived at the apartments reception at 21-00 on a Sat night and new that we were not going to arrive before the reception had closed and were informed that we had to ring security to check in upon arrival (this took an hour after he could not find our room) Thought there might be an issue when we had to go downstairs to the apartment which was below ground level and upon entry all you could smell was damp ( see photos the walls were crumbling) as the reception was not open we had to stay the night which was very uncomfortable with the smell. Next morning (Sunday)we went straight to reception to ask to be moved but were told that only the BOSS could authorise this and he would not be in work until Monday so another night spent in the cellar. Monday morning straight to reception to meet the BOSS who without hesitation told us we would be moved,I asked him why we were put in the original apartment in the first place if he new it was that bad but got no reply. The room we were moved to was fine with no problems and if we had been put in this room to start with I would not be writing this review. The only other issue was the lack of a curtisy room as we had to leave the room at 11am and were not being picked up until 18-00 ( so a wasted last day) So be carefull as the apartments are in 5-6 separate blocks and it would seem that some are better than others but the problem is you will not find out which one until you arrive.

Location couldn't be better. Right next to the beach, dunes and lake, there's a small supermarket nearby, you're 5 minutes walk from the first run of restaurants, but I'd recommend investing an extra 5/10 minutes to walk past the lighthouse and eat at any of the places past there. Apartment was lovely and had everything you'd need to self cater (although we ate out every evening but enjoyed breakfast on our terrace). Pool is a short walk away (e.g. 1 minute!) from most apartments and was rarely busy when we went (probably as the hotel is right in the beach!) so always got a lounger and space in the pool. Everyone working for dunaoasis that we met were lovely and friendly and the apartment was also cleaned regularly. We had a nice welcome pack, and were given more fruit halfway through the stay which was a lovely gesture too! We paid about £55 a night between 2 - for the amount of space we had (big lounge area, nice terrace, good sized bedroom and bathroom) and location, I don't think you could get any better!! Parking can be difficult. If you can't get on the street, or the two car park areas at either end of the road, and don't want to pay €15 a day at the multistory... I recommend parking on the streets near the hospital, we always found something, about a 15minute walk from the apartment.

We stayed in Dunaoasis Apartment at the end of April 2017 and we were very impressed by place. Its clean (ladies clean the room every 2 days), quite big and have all appliance ex. a/c, washing machine, toaster, microwave. Amazing view from balcony. We stayed in Casa Palmar apartment 4

Avda. del Oasis, 10 San Bartolome de Tirajana Gran Canaria
