this hotel is in a good area central to everything. However when we arrived early we asked if there was any rooms available and the staff said no a minute later they asked if we wanted early check in for a hundred dollars and we said yes tired from a long flight . We booked a room with an ocean view and verified it with the check-in staff the room was ocean side but all you could see was palm trees not the picture expedia showed with a clear view to the ocean-we get into the room it smells like mildew and it was cold so we adjusted the ac and went to eat we came back and the bed was wet and the floor was wet too. we called the staff and maintence showed up and basically blamed us saying we adjusted the ac and told us to wait 10 minutes we did and had to call again because everything was wet the staff came again and changed the bed covers and said if it happens again they will try to change us to a different room. so we went back out to visit place and came back it still was mildewed but we were exhausted and went to sleep. The hotel doesn’t look like the photos you see it is an older hotel and needs upgrades there is mold in the door and ceilings . The staff were nice but should of changed rooms we when called several times about smell and water all around the ac and floor If I were booking again I would not go to this hotel too many issues and no way to fix them. but we still had a great time san andre’s is beautiful very busy place Just make sure you go on the hotels site
