There is a public bus stop at the entrance of the Montelaguna property for those who do not wish to use a car or walk. The Montelaguna Residences is the perfect place to escape the crowds while allowing easy access to shopping, nightlife, and tours. The private property is shared with the Montelaguna Boutique Hotel, which has its own pool and bar and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Condo Marimba is a top floor, two-bedroom apartment with an accessible elevator and features: air conditioning, ceiling fans, two bathrooms, satellite TV, WiFi internet, dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dining and living room areas, and an oversized balcony with pristine natural views. The main bedroom has an ensuite (attached) bathroom and a walk-in closet with plenty of storage. The second bedroom has one double bed, one twin bed and its own bathroom. Each bedroom has a large dresser, side tables, a wall mounted television, and expansive views. The laundry area includes a new washer and dryer, a safe for valuables, and additional storage.

Rentals include full use of the property including a dedicated covered parking space, access to a swimming pool, children's play area, common area with rancho, tropical gardens. Nice, quiet condo outside of town- not what we expected.

This is a nice, clean, quiet condo outside of town. You do have to be on top of it because ants will come if you leave a crumb out. The pool is quite nice and the view is beautiful. The water pressure isn’t great. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we arrived. The property manager got it fixed by the next day but it still wasn’t fast enough for my husband to take video calls (we are on an extended trip so he is working on the go). He booked a co working space downtown. We were doing language school and so we had wanted to stay in town. Be sure to look up the exact location of the condo complex on Google instead of relying on the “get directions” button the listing page. It was a 7 minute drive each way to town or about 45- 1 hour if you walk along the beach. You do need to drive to eat out (unless you want to go to next door restaurant). The part of Samara beach that is a 5 minute walk is great and has beautiful sunsets. Carrillo beach is also beautiful. I’m sure the property manager is great but we had a series of miscommunications. I thought she should have send the actual address to us sooner and I think if you press the “get directions” button on your booking page it should show where the property actually is. The only way we could actually find the property is googling the name of the complex. However- the condo was nice, quiet and had great views so if that is what you are looking for definitely stay here. Samara beach is one of my favorite places ever.
