If you are flying into Mexico to visit Salvatierra, you will most likely fly into General Francisco Mujica International Airport (at an hour and 15 minutes from Salvatierra) or Del Bajio International Airport (a 1 hour and 40 minutes distance). While it would be possible to get up bright and early for an early-morning flight, or arrive to your Salvatierra hotel in the middle of the night, it might just be more comfortable to book a hotel near the airport you are arriving at. That means you can just lie down and go to sleep right after arriving, or that you will be avoiding a lot of stress on the morning of departure.
