A bonus was the quality of the food, both breakfast and evening meals.
Pros - friendly welcome, quick check in, large room and great tea tray, fantastic breakfast
Cons - small gripe is the tv is at a funny angle to the bed and my old neck was aching
We loved our short stay at the Captain Cook Inn! They took care of all five of us for one night, and knowing that we had to leave very early the following day, they prepared breakfast to-go for us for our journey back to Newcastle. Too kind and so thoughtful!
Fantastic location - warm welcome and great prawn sandwich. The room had wonderful views and bathroom amenities good. However the bed needs a new mattress!
