Winderfully presented good location

A wonderfully presented, clean and comfortable stay was had at The Railway cottage. The facilites were very good and extra touches such as blackout material avaliable to use was very useful in a heat wave. The cottage is in a good location for travelling to tourist spots. We found the matresses uncomfortable as they are very soft but this is just personal preference. I would also agree with other reviews that the backyard needs some attention and could do with a tidy up. It can be noisy as the property is on a main road with train track and steel works behind it, however we got used to the noise and slept well. It's great to be able to cook some of your own meals at the cottage as there arent many places locally to eat, within walking distance. Its also great to have a washing machine. Overall we would recommend a stay at this cosy cottage.
