Leucosya Luxury Rooms is very conveniently located just 2 minutes walk away from Salerno Train Station, with good pavements for rolling suitcases. It takes about an 18-20 minute leisurely walk from the building to reach the historical part of Salerno.
Room is small but well equipped, with a modern upscale bathroom. Shower is somewhat small so large individuals may struggle to move around. Generally, the room is only practical for a maximum of two persons, and suitcases have to be opened on the bed as there is not much floor space around the bed.
The complimentary breakfast was rudimentary (a croissant, coffee, a selection of jam and Nutella packets, and packaged toast and biscuits). Breakfast is brought to your room at a prearranged time, as there is no dining area. However, there is a bistro in the adjacent building for more extensive (to buy) options.
On the downside, the instructions to reach the front desk needs to be much improved, as a code was required to access the doors to the building (which was not provided beforehand), and the front desk and rooms were on the 2nd floor. We were lucky to gain access from a kind resident of the building who also showed us the way to the front desk. There is a small elevator available.
Overall, Luecoysa is recommended for a short stays by couples who want to be close to the train station.
