North Keowee Family Lake House on Private Cove With Dock / 5 MIN FROM JOCASSEE

Get the family and friends together for memories at the lake! This waterfront lake house with private dock has plenty of outdoor living space and is nestled at the end of a quiet cove. You can let the kids swim and explore on the kayaks and lillipad float without worrying about boat traffic, or go for an adventure yourself! Two (2) kayaks, two (2) stand up fishing kayaks, and lillipad provided at no additional charge. Please remember to bring your own life jackets!!! There are lots of great hiking trails in the area (even if the water is too cold to swim) and the leaves are spectacular in autumn.

The location of this home and dock are ON Lake Keowee, but only a 5 minute drive from Lake Jocassee and Devil’s Fork State Park. Enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee or peaceful sunset from the large screened porch or lower deck overlooking the lake and cove. There is a path with ~40 steps down to the lower deck shown in the photos.

Winter guests enjoy the wood burning stove after a hike on one of the local trails and the outdoor fire pit is a great spot to catch up with family members. During the Spring and Fall the fire pit is home of the storyteller and s'mores!

This property exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our Clemson Graduation Celebration! We were able to accommodate all our guests and host a large celebration group. The drive to campus is worth it! We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, and rented a pontoon boat. I wish we had more time to enjoy it.

We rented this house for 9 adults to enjoy the local lakes and celebrate some birthdays. We found the host to be responsive and helpful. The listing was accurate and informative. The house was well stocked with some essentials for cooking, coffee, toiletries and extra cozy blankets. The upgraded bathrooms were very nice and clean.Lots of room in different areas to socialize and hang out without feeling cramped. The dock was awesome and we cought several fish from it. We also saw wildlife such as geese, and a bear swimming across the channel. It was very peaceful bc it was the last dock in that area and far enough from the others to offer privacy. The covered dock sitting area offered a nice view when weather was cold or rainy and you can still enjoy the lake. Overall we all enjoyed the house and would most definitely book again.

We had a great time at this lake house! The setting is amazing - quiet cove off the main lake. We spent hours on the screened porch, which is definitely a highlight of the property. The area is remote, but we had planned for that and had everything we needed - the extra fridge in the tv room was a super help! The owners were very accommodating and helpful - couldn’t have asked for more!
