It's a very relaxing place in Salamanca countryside with an excellent price/quality. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is excellent. Nice kitchen at the bar, preparing wonderful sandwitches of any kind. Good spa and golf facilities, in a very quite area.
Nice big lobby & restaurant on the ground floor, room and bathroom is big too. Hotel has golf course and other facilities which I didn't have a chance to use since it was just a stopover 1 night stay. There is nothing nearby so you will need to eat in the hotel restaurant.
Stayed here for almost a week and was really impressed by service at the hotel. Good cleaning, good breakfast, free parking etc. Everything was absolutely fine - and for the price more than that. It more than meet the requirements that we had. We had some issues with Wifi, which only were working for half of the time and then I would not recommend to eat at Cafe on location. You can find better places in Salamanca town.
Outdoor pool was freezing cold, indoor pool cost to use. As did the spa. Decor I can only describe as like the film The Shining. Air conditioning hardly worked and the cleaners kept taking the card out during the day so the room was lovely and uncomfortable by the time we got back. Considering this hotel is used for conferences, staff barely spoke any English and the majority were rude and unhelpful. Breakfast was rubbish. Hardly any selection and the food was not prepared well. Overall would not stay again.
This hotel is far from the city of salamanca - about twenty minutes by car. It's in middle of nowhere, no food options except in hotel but for certain hours. you must take taxi everywhere or drive. I missed breakfast and room service was not available so I was left hungry all morning till lunchtime. The pool is ice cold and they don't allow loungers near pool which is not very relaxing. Beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. Mattresse has plastic cover which makes crunchy noises whenever you move which makes it hard to sleep! The linens are hard and crispy and not comfortable. I will not stay here again!
The hotel is next to golf course with stunning view. However the room is stuffy (maybe with heating) and the desk lamp was broken and not fixed despite of reporting to front desk. TBH, the lady who served dinner was cheerful, which seems to be uncommon in Spain. For breakfast, I wonder why two different sets of buffets were arranged. When I wanted to get cheese and turkey hams but the waiters did not allow.
If travelling from santander to portugal this place is well worth the night stop. 5* + at cheaper than chips rates. Huge bedrooms ans staff and service would put many london hotels to shame. Underground secure parking for bikers and breakfast is well worth €8
We were in a group. Dinner was included in the trip. They served us very badly. A small piece of chicken and potatoes. Very little meal. We realized unwillingness to welcome the tourists. Computer available with very bad internet! It did not work right. We had a bad impression of the hotel. I do not recommend!
This is a nice hotel with nice people but it needs to be updated. The rooms are a good size and there is a nice feeling to it but it needs the investment to make it a modern hotel, not a 1985 hotel...
Room is comfortable & spacious but kind of weird to have the washing basin outside the toilet cum shower room. There is swimming pool but too cold to swim in this cold weather. No kettle in the hotel again but I guess it is the norm in Europe hotel. But bar attendent is helpful with the hot water we needed.
