the hotel is basic but part of a complex of hotels and marina that offers lots to do and options for dining around. the guests are able to go and eat at the restaurants of the other hotels - so 6 other places each offering a special menu every few days
We got a Big room with a nice balcony thanks to Sienna. The pool is rather small. The stuff is friendly. In general it is a good place to relax. It was not easy to know when the room will be cleaned, sometimes it was first done at 16:00 which I think is very late.
The shuttle bus service from and to the airport was very convenient; it took about half an hour to get there. We had a large bedroom, a Triple Marina suite, for two adults and two children (10 and 12). The bathroom was extremely large, but did unfortunately not have a separate toilet. Breakfast was ok. Not so many people at the pool, mostly visitors from Saudi. Toilets near the reception and gym-area were very dirty. No cushions on the sofa's and seats near the poolbar, therefore it didn't look so inviting and there were hardly any guests. Slow service. Friendly team at the reception, but they didn't know so much about the day trips. This hotel is overpriced. Next time we will go next door to the Rotana resort.
The property is not a "boutique" hotel, but part of a massive development with little charm. While we love Oman and the people, the hotel constantly had issues. We traveled with friends and each of our rooms had issues: no lights worked, flooded showers, AC problems, and a shower head. Despite notifying the front desk, the problems were not fixed. We had one excellent waiter at breakfast, but otherwise, we waited one hour to get salads for lunch (and the place was empty) and we waited 45 minutes to get water at dinner. The place was clean, but if you are going to a resort, then one needs a well-functioning hotel
Flew flyDubai from Dubai, short easy flight. Hotel pickup was good, took ages to get through the passport control, annoying as we only had carry on luggage. Hotel itself was a good standard, food was good, biryani was excellent so we were happy, there are also other eating place on the site, coffee, pizza etc. There are two hotels on the site along with private villas, you can walk around the grounds, and view of the rugged sea is well worth it. We went in mid July, so the Kareef had started, plenty of greenery to see, probably more in August. Visited the Marneef Cave ourselves, hired a small car from the hotel, easy drive todo. We also went on a Jabel Safari tour with meeting point again booked from the hotel, excellent tour made extra special by our driver Ahmad.
i have visited juweira hotel and it was nice trip and there is one of this hotel team name is noor al dien he was great man and he help us until we left the hotel i am interested to come to this hotel again and good luck for noor al dien . ..
All of the team members from the driver of the courtesy bus to the staff on reception and in the restaurant were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Our ground floor room was spacious with a peaceful view over the lagoon / marina and lounging on the balcony was very relaxing. The room did have wifi so if this is important to you specify this on check in. The Juweira is on a complex with the Rotana and Fanar hotels so there is no shortage of beaches and restaurants to chose from and there are independent outlets around the marina including a mini-mart. There are some lovely walks and running tracks around the site including along the outer harbour with great views of the khareef season waves crashing onto the shore. We had a couple of excellent meals in the Manara restaurant in the hotel and were given a 10% residents' discount. We also enjoyed the seafood buffet night at the Samak Restaurant. The resort is a long way out of Salalah so you do need a hire car if you are going to explore but there is a free shuttle bus to the Salalah Gardens Mall. We were looking for a relaxing, stress free break and were not disappointed.
It was a nice trip with family stayed in Juweira, good environment for walking, swimming, relaxing. Room was good and maintained cleanliness. Though little far from the city, we can enjoy the hotel atmosphere. Very good Breakfast. I recommend this hotel in future.
Our suite was amazing, the location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for during our stay. The view from the balcony was superb. The hotel staff were amiable, as well. Unfortunately, there's no wifi in the rooms-which is essential nowadays. However, we really relaxed during our stay and absolutely enjoyed everything it has to offer. Overall, our stay was extraordinary and we would like to thank Sienna for being so helpful and cordial with us.
You have a free shuttle to the hotel and back. The Drive was very welcoming, helpful and kind. Our check inn was very smooth and fast. The lady advised us places to visit and mode of transport, without us asking(very helpful). The room is very clean, gr8 view, Basic amenities required all avaliable. Good options to choose from room service menu. The room floor was wet through our 2 day stay. The hotel says its cause you leave the balcony door open. We tried and did what they said (door close). But there was no difference, the room floor still got wet. The room is beautiful but the floor is not safe at all. We almost fell down, wearing the room slippers with the wet floor. Its like skating on a marble floor. The restaurants are very good the food is amazing. (suggest to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, then the restaurants around). The Bar at the Pool was nice too after a swim you have access to sip some beers. The bartender was a nice guy to talk too. Over all experience was gr8. Only if something could be done with the " wet floor"...
