A very luxurious hotel, fantastic apartment, delicious food. There is an amazing atmosphere here. I recommend people who want to relax and like peace. The beaches are really beautiful. Special thanks to Osama from the reception who is friendly and can find a solution to every problem.
Beautiful, but after 10 years "aged" hotel complex with beautiful beach and hotel pool. There are several possibilities to visit different restaurants in the surrounding hotel complexes if you have not booked a full boarding house (like us). The staff at the reception tries hard, but not always super-friendly. We also tried the room service - and were pleasantly surprised - very good food in the hotel! Two things disturbed us, however: 1) Even after 10 years the hotel-management has unfortunately not been able to offer an always working internet connection; 2) The inventory e. g. at the pool and at the beach urgently needs an "overhaul" - see our picture of the parasols! However, the friendliness and the memory of the (mostly Indian or Bangladeshi) employees should be emphasized - they took care of us very lovingly! After many excursions in the north and south of Oman we had a good rest at the end of our Oman trip!
Michel C Overall, this hotel is worth the stay in Oman. Our suite was very big and beautifully arranged, the view to the small marina and the bay a pleasure for the eyes. Unfortunaly, the only German TV chain, ZDF, the hotel provides was not working. A pity for the high number of German guests. The staff is very friendly and effective, the receptionists are very helpful and skilled. The pool service is without blame. The restaurant offers excellent food and employs a big number of waiters. In my opinion (and other guests shared my view), due to the air conditioning working too strong in the breakfast and dining room, the temperature is too low. The pool equipment would need some refreshment.
Ideal hotel to find peace and quiet. Nearly no families with children (our son most of the time had kids pool only for himself). No animations at the hotel (beside DJ Bianco show) and this we count as a plus. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Food fresh and tasty. There is opportunity to use facilities of the Fanar hotel (walking distance but you can use club cars) but we didn’t like there (too many people because much bigger hotel than Juweira). Location is in the middle of desert so to go outside you have to buy trip from travel agency or use own car/taxi. This hotel I recommend for all who want rest and spend peaceful holidays. At the end I want to specially thanks to Manaj who was always around when we needed service at the restaurant. Also thank you for birthday cake which was arranged by hotel stuff as surprise for us.
We had a really wonderful trip to Salalah and a great stay at the Juweira Boutique hotel. The weather and beaches are gorgeous and the service was very friendly and attentive to our needs. At the front desk we were often helped by Karim, a friendly young man who spoke both German and English. We hope to see him there again next year! Our apartment was very spacious with a nice view of the marina, but it was showing it's age a bit and could use some renovations. Still it was more then adequate and the size really made up for it, especially since there were 5 of us! The food was definitely a highlight of this hotel as well. As an AI guest you're allowed to dine in various restaurants from surrounding hotels, and you can also grab drinks (or Gözleme!) at any of the beach bars at the Fanar hotel next door. If you want to get away from the tranquility of the Juweira for a day (or an evening), the much larger and busier Fanar is a perfect escape. Juweira guests really get the best of both worlds in this regard. This was a considerable bonus that makes even prolonged stays much more enjoyable. Our most memorable dining experiences were at the fish restaurant by Juweiras beach. Especially on Christmas Eve they served a very high class meal, but we had some really excellent fish and steaks on other days as well. Here again the staff can not be praised enough for the great service. At the quiet beach lagoon we were greeted every day by the staff, which had already reserved places for us on most days. One of the staffers whose name I can not recall, even went to catch some crabs with my 9 year old son. We went on 3 tours from FTI and most enjoyed the 1001 Nights and the Jabal Safari. On the Safari our driver Mohammed was extremely friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately we enjoyed the Salalah trip the least. It was fine for adults, but a bit boring for the kids, and also a bit pricey for just being driven around basically. (I think you can probably pay a cab driver to give you the same tour for a much lower price. ;-) ) In the end though we all enjoyed our trip immensely and will be back again for sure! Once again I want to thank all of the great staff at Juweira for their excellent service! I would give it a 4.5 if I could, but I have to take a little bit off for the state the apartment was in, in the hopes that it will get a renovation soon. ;-)
We spent a few days in Juweira Boutique Hotel in December 2017. It all started with and upgrade: 2 suites instead of 2 Deluxe rooms. This gesture was much appreciated. The hotel as well as the rooms are very clean, breakfast and dinner buffet are varied and food tastes good. People are extremely helpful and efficient. We had a wonderful time in this hotel.
We were with wife in December, we are delighted with this place. A really great hotel. Regardless of eating, everyone will find a lot of food for themselves. Service at a high level of mile, willing to help. Particularly very sympathetic and facetious waiter Manoj whom we greet: D. Anyone who needs a bit of peace and quiet should choose this hotel
Very good hotel. Two very quiet and relaxing pools. Beautiful beach near to hotel. In a good day dolphins can be observed there! :) Exvellent food, especially local mezze. As guest you can also use facilities from Al Fanar. Excellent service especially Mr. Noor from reception. Always able to support you in case of questions or requests.
We had a wonderful stay at the Juweira Boutique hotel We liked the hotel area, the great food, the dine around concept and the sandy beaches with the coconut palms. Special thanks to Karim and Osama from the reception. They supported us well and organized a private guided tour to the fantastic desert and a rented car. Many thanks to Raj and Umlesh from the Al Manara restaurant as well for the excellent service throughout our stay. The only points we did not enjoy that much, was the huge inflatable colorful island at the beach. It kind of destroyed the beach feeling at Juweira beach. :-( …and the Christmas music could have stopped after the 25th of December. We prefer the Juweira boutique hotel to the Rotana an Al Fanar hotel, because it was smaller, calmer and therefor more relaxing.
Big room, excellent food, no crowds in the restaurants and the possibility to dine in other hotels in the area. Nice and clean beaches with enough space to hide or walk over kilometers in beautiful white sand and turquoise ocean. worth to be exposed: exciting trip to the desert dunes. all Omanis are friendly, what has not worked - to pay with CC, you have to take cash with you.
