1st rate apartment in a fabulous location.

The ad on Vrbo was slightly misleading. It wasn't clear that it was on the Melia Tortuga resort, so we were worried that it might have been above the Reggae Bar. We needn't have worried.The flat was fantastic, the location is perfect - you get use of Tortuga facilities whilst being fully self-catering. Splendid west-facing beach. Walking distance of Santa Maria, with a real African vibe, and a South-facing beach. Taxis 5 euros each way. There's a supermarket close by, in the complex opposite the front entrance to the resort. Also Cazu supermarket in Santa Maria, and Municipal Market for fruit and veg.Lots of great cafes and restaurants. Fresh fish is available daily. Really chilled place. "No stress" is the slogan.
