We booked the hotel last minute, which means we only had the choice of their last room available, a standard room. Whilst the room was their cheapest, we were fine. The location, staff, the room, cleanliness, food happy hour, pools, all really amazing definitely would recommend the Morabeza hotel. However just a note for some travellers, this time of year, January to February tends to be a lot older clientele so if you’re looking forward a lovely quiet relaxing time this is perfect for you. Directly by the beach and by the strip where there are lots of really great restaurants and bars with music every evening. Overall this is a beautiful place to visit. Temperatures are just perfect and lots of outdoor water sports which are well worth the trip to have a look at the wildlife in the sea that cannot be matched. The people of Cabo Verde are extremely helpful, polite and very cool. Overall I would recommend Cabo Verde to the traveller who wants something a little bit more than a beach and pool holiday lots to do and explore.
