My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. The entire experience was fantastic. First was the location. We loved that it was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Saint Tropez, but still had easy access. It was about a 10 minute drive to the heart of Saint Tropez and a 15-20 minute drive to Gassin. The property itself was great. There were amazing views from the eating area, a nice pool, as well as a garden. We spent some time at both the pool and garden, and it was very relaxing. Staff were extremely accommodating and always available. We had two breakfasts and one lunch at the hotel, and enjoyed each meal. It's hard to beat the service and view to go along with the food. The meals aren't cheap, but we felt that each one was worth it. Our hotel room was perfect. It was spacious, with a beautiful view of both the pool area and water in the distance. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.
My husband and I drove from Nice to stay in this area a few days before returning home to the states. We were so pleased with the excellent service, breathtaking view and cozy room. We had chosen this hotel from information we reviewed on TA. We were exhausted after sight-seeing for almost 2 weeks and La Bastide offered a wonderful place to relax with their lovely pool and wonderful mixologist, Jaguar, ready to offer you one of his special concoctions. The location of the hotel is a great launching point for traveling to various areas like Gassin with its old world feel, excellent local vineyards in the area providing free tastings and, of course, St. Tropez. If you are looking for tranquility, this is your spot. It is an easy drive/cab ride into the vibe of St. Tropez but you can leave it behind when you enter La Bastide.
La Bastide d'Antione is with only 16 rooms the perfect getaway. Its stylish interior and many place to sit and enjoy the view over the ocean make it a great place for couples. It is like a little piece of heaven just outside of Saint Tropez.
It was a quiet pleasant hotel around a 10 minute drive from St. Tropez. A beautiful pool setting at night The staff were pleasant and helpful, the only issue I had was the cost of breakfast which I thought was over priced. Otherwise you'll enjoy your stay
I stayed for three days at the hotel with my wife and we were totally satisfied. We booked the standard room which is relatively small but very well equipped with tasteful furniture. The most enjoyable thing is the terrace with the swimmingpool which gives you a great feeling of relaxation. The breakfast is very rich and of high quality. The suggestion that we received from the hotel were all good except for the restaurant they have a partnership with (La bouillabaise). This one is a bit "boring" and food is very average. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit remote from the center so you can't really walk and buy car you will find every day A LOT of traffic. Thanks for the great stay.
This was our first visit to St. Trop but not our last! Not knowing much about the area we chose this charming hotel based on the other TA reviews and they were not wrong. La Bastide is a charming and picturesque hillside resort. We enjoyed retreating here after long days at the beach and town. The staff is very accommodating and as welcoming as possible. Everyone spoke English and made us feel special. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, wonderful lunch menu and excellent rosé wine selection. Do yourself a favor and stay at La Bastide D' Antoine for a truly provincial experience!
We stayed at la Bastide and we had a great time. Very well located near the village , 5 mn by car, on the hill facing the bay, the view is gorgeous. We had diner around the pool and it s just perfect. Very quiet, limited rooms and excellent service. Perfect little paradise :)
Wonderful escape, peaceful getaway. Loved our room, staff is fantastic and food worth every penny. Can't wait to plan our next trip back for a more extended stay. Loved being up the hill a bit, but still close to town as to not miss any of the fabulousness that is St. Tropez.
This hotel we stayed for 2 nights in the middle of our trip. The room was absolutely beautiful with sea views. Everything was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The staff were very accommodating and were attentive and service oriented. It is a small boutique hotel which is just outside of the town of St Tropez. Its a bit far to walk into town, but you can do it. We took a taxi into town one night, but it was quite expensive and we ended up walking back after dinner. The pool area is wonderful, with lounge chairs and lots of umbrellas and they also serve lunch and dinner. We ate for dinner one night and had the burger which was really good! St Tropez is definitely on the pricey side, but we really enjoyed every moment. We spent one day at one of the local beaches and it again, was really beautiful.
Stayed here in May with four friends. Tje villa was perfect fir our girly holiday. Staff were attentive yet not intrusive. Room service was polite and effective. The place was clean and a fabulous view of those? Great value for money. The villa doesn't come with. Fully fitted kitchen as advertised. I asked Emily if she could provide a kettle and this was no problem along with cups saucers and cutlery. Emily is as chairing and gracious as the hitel itself. One minor thing was the breakfast. It want until we were presented with the bill that we realised tea and coffee, eggs and bacon all on the buffet were at extra cost. I think this should be made explicit. Definitely recommend this hotel, close to Saint Tropez and the local supermarket is fairly close. We'll done to all the staff for politeness, care and attention. Nothing was to much trouble.
