In Saint-Salvy-de-la-Balme, in the Tarn, the hamlet of La Garrigue immerses you in a unique environment: the Sidobre, the largest granite plateau in Europe, known for its spectacular rock formations, age-old legends, and forest trails. From the gîte, you can walk to sites like the "Chapeau de Napoléon" or the "Chaos de la Balme," discover the famous "Peyro Clabado," or visit nearby villages and the lively markets of Castres. Hikers, anglers, and mountain bikers will find plenty to enjoy in the Sidobre! The gîte is housed in a traditional stone house in the hamlet. A few steps lead to a terrace equipped for outdoor dining. Inside, everything is on one level: a welcoming living area with lounge, smart TV, dining table, and wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. A separate, well-equipped kitchen, a shower room, and a toilet complete the layout. Sleeping arrangements: - One bedroom with a double bed (140x190) - One bedroom with two single beds (90x190) side by side The gîte is air-conditioned (living room) and Wi-Fi is available. Outside, everything invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. Around the house, a small green space offers a shady place to unwind. In summer, a large shared pool (open June to September) with sun loungers and parasols is available, shared with the owner and another gîte.
