Kyriad Fréjus Centre - Saint-Raphaël3.0 out of 5.0

If you are into minimalism Kyrius Frejus Center is for you. Rooms are barely 12m2 large so it is impossible to open up a large suitcase unless you do it on the bed. The shower does not have a stall but uses the old curtian technology that clings to your body when taking a shower. Only one large towel is provided per occupant which will also have to serve as the hand towel. The bed itself is comfortable though and there is a tiny desk (with water cooker!) A small flat screen tv is installed at ceiling height in the corner of the room making tv watching a bit trying. The hotel encourages one to reuse towels "to save the environment" but fails to provide a single towel hook where one could hang and dry such towel. Breakfast is optional and costs €9.50 extra per person/day. There is plenty of free parking around the hotel. WiFi is free and works in the rooms. Overall a rather Spartan experience.
We stayed here twice during a trip to the Italian Lakes from our French home We only booked in the second time on the way back because the welcome we got first time was so good and on our return we were treated well by different staff so it was obvious that the attitude was encouraged by the management. I would agree with other people that the car park was safe and that the rooms were spotlessly clean although the carpets were slightly stained and the use of a darker colour carpet would have alleviated this problem, We were pleased to find that there were tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and the beds were very comfortable but the truly essential part is that they wre well sound proofed and this guarantees a good night's sleep The meals were simple and wholesome but not expensive and the service was fast and attentive Iwould thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Nice and comfortable hotel. Small room but super comfortable bed. One of the best sleeps I had in my 3 weeks tour of Europe on the motorbike. Free strong WiFi and a coffee/tea making facility in the room which is an added bonus. Air-conditioning was perfectly working too.
We stayed for one night at this hotel on our way to Nice from Arles. We were happy to be able to park our rental car in a safe place. The lady at the check-in was very kind and helpful..She pointed everything on the city map for us and found available rooms though we came early. The room was clean with minmum furniture.. And the bathroom had a heating unit that was convenient..The breakfast buffet offered enough at 10 euros...Bed and breakfast concept is different in France since they charge for breakfast! Overall, at 74 euros per night, this hotel was good value...
Stayed here for one night on route to Florence , hotel was clean and tidy , tea and coffee facilities were a bonus , rooms were of a good size , shower was hot , we didn't have any meals at this hotel , it was well located for Frejus and St Rafael We did feel for a Kyriad it was very over priced but believe it was due to its location
We stayed two nights at this hotel and we were very impressed with the whole stay. Friendly helpful staff could not do enough for us and in the short time we were there I have to say I was extremely impressed with the hotel manager Jean Michel, (on our 2nd day he dropped us into the port in his own car and on his lunch break) I would strongly recommend that you avail of the breakfast,(€7.50), which took me five minutes to walk around and see what was on offer. Delicious!! Our room was on the small side but spotlessly clean and adequate. Nice bathroom, tiled from top to bottom, TV, coffee/tea making facilities, etc... Every thing we required. Cleaned thoroughly whist we were taking breakfast on the second morning, (thank you Mrs cleaner), we returned to a new room. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the historic centre of Frejus and about a 40 minute walk to the port and the beeches. Of course you can avail of a taxi, in which case you are three minutes from the old town centre and ten form the port. The beeches are lovely and the whole area was jumping. We preferred the old quarter but there is something here for every taste. I cannot recommend Ferjus enough and if value for money floats your boat book your stay at the Kyriad Frejus Central.
Ibis Budget conditions, but the price is the Novotel, price too high for what it offers, if you want to waste your money, go. Not worth banii.Personalul is ok, but the price is very high for the conditions offered!
So, I liked breakfast a lot because it was plentiful and it offered more than it's usual at hotels at riviera. There were a lot of sweet pastry things but also cheese&ham&spreads&fruit&dried fruit&yogurt&cornflakes&bread and of course tea&coffee&juice. You get tea&coffee in the room (there's a kettle and a few tea&coffee bags) and there was also a bottle of water. The room was fine, it only doesn't have a real wardrobe. Bathroom was ok, clean and good-sized. There's a parking space in front of the hotel as well as free wi-fi. The hospital is around the corner as well as a big supermarket. The center of the town is 15-20mins away.
Stayed here for 1 night on our mini road trip around the riviera. It was a Saturday night and due to it being out of season they were not serving dinner so we went to Frejus town and found KFC as it was quite late. Comfortable bed, smallish room but absolutely spotless. Could do with some hand towels in the bathroom and a shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc on whilst showering. We had continental breakfast which was "ok". Would have been nice to have some hot food but being November I guess they don't have so many guest so do not offer such a large selection. Free WIFI and good customer service :-)
This new hotel was just what we needed on our trip though France - bathrooms and beds were new and clean and location was convenient for exploring Nice to St-Tropez region. Quiet rooms, free wifi and free parking were some of the perks. Staff was very hospitable and helping. The only thing we missed in this room was a small fridge - so that we can enjoy our vine and cheese cold. Warm recommendation for short stays!
