Accommodation description:
Experience peace and open views from this modern holiday home featuring a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen. A large ground-floor bedroom with air conditioning (for a fee—ask the caretaker) includes an en-suite bathroom, while the first floor offers two bedrooms and a second bathroom, including a nursery. The villa is a stone's throw from Cahors, famous for its wine and the Pont Valentré, an imposing bridge with several locks over the Lot river. The surrounding area is particularly vast and is just part of the grand Causses de Gramat: a 350-metre high limestone plateau with rock walls so high that even mountain goats are frightened by them. Explore Saint Cirq Lapopie and Rocamadour and learn about the region's history. Bonaguil castle, a 13th-century gem, stands majestically there. In summer, the area comes alive with markets, food festivals (with evening snacks and live music, because eating without a tune is boring), and flea markets. You can also sit back on an outdoor terrace with a drink of your choice
