My experience in the Rochecotte was absolutely perfect. The hotel is extremely beautiful, with a lot of gardens and a pool. Our room was beautiful. We ordered a breakfast to our room, and we received the best breakfast I had ever had. It was Very big, with different types of breads, coffee, and many other delicious french products. It is very recommended.
My wife and I stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is very relaxing and peaceful not to mention beautiful. We didn't have dinner here but would have liked to. The staff is very helpful and bilingual. I would definitely return here again.
Stayed here on a bus tour. Our room had a HUGH bathroom with a deep tub and separate shower. The charming room was not cramped or too small. Had closet & storage space. High ceilings with decoration. Bed was fine. The window could be opened for fresh air. Only negative was that the shower was a bit small and the controls were difficult, so the 2nd day we took shower in the tub and it was fine. Walking around the hotel gardens was pleasant. Breakfast was good, but dinner was excellent.
It must have been a huge job turning an old chateau into a hotel, but the family does a great job of keeping it comfortable. We were with a tour group of 24, so they had to stagger dinnertimes, but the door was lovely and the staff quite friendly. Grounds give you a very pleasant way to get some exercise. I would recommend this as a very posh weekend getaway.
My wife and I stayed for two days and wished we could have stayed two weeks. The chateau grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and elegantly outfitted, well-mixing old and new furniture, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating. We stayed in mid-May and nearly had the place to ourselves, enjoying wine and cocktails in the gardens without seeing another soul. Dinner in the main dining room was a great experience as well. The food was excellent, and the room was elegant.
We stayed at Rochecotte with our two children (7 and 11) for three nights in Apartment 1 (2 bedroom/2bathroom) and loved every minute. The atmosphere is special here, very chic yet relaxed. The rooms are spacious and classy and the grounds beautifully kept. The staff are kind and helpful, we liked how nice they were to the children. We had reserved a table for the first night only but ended up eating here three nights (a la carte). The food is great, both in taste and in look, and they have an excellent wine list. It is a treat to be here.
We stayed at the chateau. Spacious rooms, chateau style. Had the dinner At the restaurant. The staff were exceptional - stunning service, delicious meals. Fantastic selection on wines and champagnes. Highly recommended.
Ideally situated on a hill overlooking the town of Saint Patrice. A very elegant chateau with lovely furnishings, spacious rooms, fabulous breakfast buffet and delicious dinners. The staff is what sets one chateau experience from another. They are all very friendly, anticipate your needs, make sure you are comfortable and do it all with a smile. The location is ideal for visiting other chateaux in the area or wineries. We really enjoyed our staying here, you will too.
We had a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. The room was beautifully furnished and really felt that nothing had changed in hundreds of years. Except for the modern bathroom. The dining room for dinner offered very good meals and pleasant efficient service. Breakfast was very good too. A very pleasant place to stay when travelling through chateau country.
Excellent and wonderful experience staying at historic chateau. Located on large well-kept grounds away from town and other hotels. Felt like you were in Downton Abbey. Loved just walking inside and enjoying the history of the place. But outside was just as wonderful -- from views to the wonderful gardens and the big, old tree in the front. Staff was wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. Restaurant was absolutely great for dinner and breakfast. The place and food are pricey but you get your money's worth.
