A really cold and dark night

It is cold outside. A storm is coming. Temp is about 10' C. No heat in the rooms. No thick comforters, either. Every other property we stayed at at least offered thick comforters. And the Saint-Nicolas? they had a single thread bare thin blanket on the beds. When I asked hotel staff that night about having heat, I was told (somewhat impolitely in my opinion) "It is only the fall. We do not turn the heat on in the fall. It is too expensive." When I asked for extra blankets for the old people traveling with us you'd have thought I was pulling teeth out. and they reluctantly gave us extra twin size blankets for double size beds. a Bad deal FOR US. And, by the way, the staff sent the elevator somewhere and left me standing in the hallway and he left with a mumbled word I couldn't catch. Later, I realized I was to take the stairs back up. Who knew? He was long gone. Guess what? In the morning they turned the heat on. After we froze all night.

Faulty Towers mixed with Guest House Paradiso. The place was falling apart, the food was terrible. The only good point was the location, it was fantastic.

great stop over hotel for us!

My partner and i travel frequently to Italy by car from the UK at least once a year, we decided to change our normal route and go via Monti bianco, so glad we did, i chose to book this particular hotel mainly due to its location. The drive up to the hotel gives you some spectacular views, but is quite a steep climb and not for the lighthearted. Our room and bathroom were very large, yes they were dated but it was clean and had plenty of soap, shower gel etc., We decided to eat at the hotel, neither my partner and i are fussy eaters and found the 13 euros for a small 3 course supper great, but it would not be for everyone, the continental breakfast was also very good with a selection of warm crossiants, yoghurts, fruits, bread rolls and ham amongst others things, i really have nothing negative to say about this hotel except it could do with a little tlc in the bedrooms and corridoors to make it more welcoming.

Hotel a una media hora de Aosta dirección montaña. Tiene unas vistas geniales, perfecto para desconectar. El precio de 41 euros con el desayuno incluido esta muy bien. El hotel esta un poco anticuado, y se oye la ventilación del baño cuando otras habitaciones lo utilizan. El personal muy amable y disponible.

Logisticamente perfetto e qualità sopra la media

L'hotel è situato nel piccolo borgo di Saint Nicolas (330 abitanti), dispone di pizzeria e ristorante (ottima la pizza). Nel borgo c'è un piccolo supermercato, un bel rifugio ed una tabaccheria. Ci sono anche dei bellisiimi sentieri naturali nei pressi della chiesetta. Le camere sono molto pulite e profumate, nel complesso la struttura è molto curata e pulita. Il proprietario all'apparenza burbero nei fatti si è rivelato gentile anche se non molto confidenziale, la ragazza alla reception morettina è praticamente una guida per il parco.. Noi onestamente ci siamo trovati molto bene rispetto ad alcune recensioni molto negative lette preventivamente che soggettivamente parrebbero infondate.. 20 minuti da aosta, 45 da Cogne, 30 da courmayer.. Logisticamente opportuno per visitare il parco. Cosa si vuole di più per 40 euro a notte a camera colazione compresa (buonissima e abbondante). Consiglio molto. Unico difetto: le ventole d'areazione dei bagni sono molto rumorose e si sentono da camera a camera (se dimenticate accese)

Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana lungo (due notti) nel mese di agosto in 5 (2 adulti e 3 bimbi). Abbiamo speso davvero poco con trattamento b&b. Colazione abbondante. L albergo si trova in una splendida cornice con un parco giochi bellissimo vicino. Unico disguido una cena servita con 40 minuti di ritardo ma dovuta a una incomprensione tra i camerieri. Ho notato una attenzione particolare verso la clientela di una certa eta' veramente da premiare.

La zona è molto bella e facilmente fruibile anche per disabili. L'Hotel è semplice e pulito, la nostra stanza era spaziosa, dotata di bagno con box doccia. Offre pasti golosi a modici prezzi e il personale è disponibile e cortese. Il rapporto qualità prezzo mi è parso ottimo.

Hôtel d'etape avant avant de traverser l'Italie, trés bien pour passer 1 nuit. Arrivés vers 21:00, ils ont un petit restaurant qui nous a servis de bonnes pizzas. Patron pas trés bavard mais sa fille est plus agréable. Les chambres sont trés rustiques, la literie a ressorts s'enfoncent mais pour une nuit ça va... Petit déjeuner servi jusqu'à 9:30, peu copieux mais bon. Situé dans petit village montagnard, cadre très agréable
