A few steps from the cottage, the orientation table located at the church offers an exceptional panorama of the entire Mortainais valley and, in good weather, a glimpse of the outlines of the Merveille. The town remains the last quarrying center for a granite known as "Bleu de Vire." You can discover this history through a walk and a family trail in the granite museum park in the heart of the village, classified as a "Heritage Village." Spacious and bright, this granite residence now features a very pleasant contemporary interior that highlights the exposed stonework. Hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the surrounding hills, which are a wonderful playground for walks and bike rides, particularly along the GR22 (long-distance hiking trail connecting Notre Dame de Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel).
