Amazing stay, beautiful area. Beautiful hikes starting from the house. The alpages are amazing to have a drink. The house itself is a real pearl. Modern, qualitatif and the relax room is the best.Keep in mind with kids, the house is a little far from playgrounds or activities (-25min drive).

An absolute gem of a location

Simply, the best view we have ever had in 25 years of travelling as a couple. The Heren Valley is relatively quiet and unspoilt; the different glaciers at the head of the valley are incredible! We never got tired of the views from the lounge at the top of the chalet (also equipped with an excellent sound and vision system). The chalet was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to people who love the mountains in summer!

Chalet with an extra

This is a chalet with all the usual you can expect like everything is available in the kitchen, good beds, very clean, well maintained, etc. But then you have that something extra. We stayed in a week with varying weather, from bad to very good. then the qualities of a good holiday accommodation come to the fore. The building is built in such a way that you have a beautiful view at everything, a range of wines for sale at the owner, an extensive library of CDs, DVDs and books. This library is located on the top floor with a rather traditional decoration, under the supervision of nicely mounted animals (taxidermist), with a very good music and TV installation. Also take the time to look through the beautiful photo books of the owner Herr Hatzfeldt. Also on the ground floor, modernly furnished, you can enjoy the majestic pictures of the mountains. Recommended!

A 100% recommended chalet!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay in Chalet-2-Sphères in every way. The chalet is in a wonderful location. The view is second to none. The remote location offers a lot of peace. The chalet is spotlessly clean and equipped with every luxury and convenience. Very special is the combination of classic (upper house) and modern (lower house). How special is it to stay in a mountain chalet that also has a great and special home cinema and a beautiful collection of stuffed animals (no hunting trophies)? The collection of books, CDs and Blu-rays is overwhelming. The beautiful and illuminated mega photos of the Matterhorn and Dent 'd Herens are fantastic. We enjoyed the hiking opportunities in the beautiful surroundings. The castles and museums of Sion are also worth a visit. It is wonderful to relax on the terraces with the breathtaking views. Communication with the owner was fantastic and very customer-friendly. He will provide you with detailed information about the chalet and the surrounding area in advance. He doesn't even forget hiking trails. We walked four recommended routes and they were all worth it. Some were heavy and some experience was required. Especially since there were still snow conditions at times (April). In short, we had a fantastic and memorable stay and certainly do not rule out that we would like to come back. A 100% recommended chalet for lovers of the mountain world, nature, tranquility and a special and comfortable house with an unparalleled view.

Es war sehr schön. Top-Aussicht ! Alles war da, was man braucht. Wir haben uns samt Hund wohlgefühlt. Laden und Restaurant im Dorf sind praktisch. Im Winter ohne 4-Rad oder Ketten könnte schwierig sein - wir hatten Glück am Samstag - 10 cm Schnee auf der Strasse😅👍👋

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas abgelegen in wunderschöner Natur. Man kann einen herrlichen Blick auf das Berg-Panorama und das Tal genießen. Besonders gut hat uns die schöne Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheit Schirm und Liegestühlen gefallen. Die Küche war für unsere Bedürfnisse gut ausgestattet und wir konnten uns in dieser Ferienwoche gut verpflegen. Rührmaschine und Kuchenform hatten wir zum Glück selbst mitgenommen. Schön war, dass es sogar ein Fonduegerät, gab. Das Wohnzimmer ist groß und hat eine Stereoanlage mit einem unglaublich beeindruckenden Sound. Der Fernseher ist riesig und es gibt eine große Auswahl ein Videos und Musikvideos. Wirklich toll. Die Küche ist ebenfalls groß und bietet Platz für acht Personen. Sehr schön fanden wir die beleuchteten Bilder in der Küche und dem Schlafzimmer mit Bergpanorama. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Bad war angenehm groß und schön hell. Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit. Vielen Dank.

Architecturaal pareltje

Ingeschoven in de berghelling combineert de chalet een modernistische architectuur met traditionele bouwkunst. Volledig gericht op de vallei met een prachtig zicht op de omgevende bergmassieven vanuit elke ruimte en vanop het ruime en zonnige terras, hebben we kunnen genieten van een prachtig verblijf. De woning is ruim, licht, mooi sober ingericht en voorzien van alle modern comfort en uitrusting. Daarmee contrasterend is de oude schuur ondergedompeld in een meer nostalgische sfeer en omgetoverd tot een salon-video-zaal (jammer genoeg zonder Wifi).Vanuit de woning kan je, al dan niet met sneeuwraketten, onmiddellijk beginnen wandelen in alle richtingen. Beneden naar Saint-Martin voor inkopen of een terrasje, boven naar de gehuchtjes in de zomerweiden of verder door naar de cols.We hebben met volle teugen onze batterijen weer kunnen opladen en zien ernaar uit om hier terug te komen.

Très bel endroit au calme

Arrivée et séjour pendant une semaine dans cet endroit surplombant la vallée du Val d'Hérens. Un peu éloigné de tout (voiture très utile) l'endroit spacieux et très intéressant vous donnera le goût de la vie en montagne traditionnel avec des touche de modernité et d'art.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage

Das Haus ist toll und bietet phantastische Ausblicke auf die umliegende Bergwelt. Unser Aufenthalt wurde zudem gekrönt von tollem Winterwetter mit viel Schnee, blauem Himmel und strahlendem Sonnenschein. Zu berücksichtigen ist, das der Weg von der Straße zum Haus recht steil und unbefestigt ist. Für Mieter, die nicht ausreichend trittsicher sind, kann das ein Risiko sein.

wir, Ehepaar, (63 und 64 Jahre) waren eine Woche im November in diesem einmaligen Chalet. Die Aussicht ist nicht mit Worten angemessen zu beschreiben. Sie ist 24 Stunden am Tag begeisterungsfähig. Bei entsprechendem Wetter kann man sich auf dem Grundstück bei Bedarf den ganzen Tag sonnen oder seine Mahlzeiten zu sich nehmen. Innen vermittelt die klare und stabile Gebäudestruktur und Einrichtung ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit, Ruhe und durchdachtem Komfort. Das Obergeschoss ist eine eigene Welt, welche jedem geistige Anregung in Hülle und Fülle bietet. Dazu kommt die anheimelnde Atmosphäre eines Raumes, der ganz aus Holz hergestellt ist. Leider waren wir abends zu müde um uns noch von der Akustik des Raumes verzaubern zu lassen. Im Haus befinden sich Wanderkarten sowie Prospekte und Bücher über alles was man kulturell in der Umgebung machen kann. Dazu erhält man vor Reiseantritt einen Fächer von persönlichen Vorschlägen des Vermieters, was man Vorort machen kann. Kurz aber umfassend und durchdacht geschrieben, lassen sich die Vorschläge leicht umsetzen. Nocheinmal hierfür einen ganz besonderen Dank an den Vermieter.

Einzigartiges Chalet an herrlicher Lage mit Liebe zu Details

Freundlicher Vermieter. Herrliche Panoramafenster mit grandioser Aussicht. Tolle Musikanlage und grosser Fernseher mit unzähligen DVDs und CDs. Sehr ruhige Lage. Einmalige Tierpräparatesammlung. Gute Matratzen. Schöne Bilder an den Wänden.
