Hostin'Malo 2D - Superbe T2 neuf au cœur de Saint Malo

Hostin'Malo is a small residence ideally located in the heart of Saint-Malo, just a few minutes from the Intramuros ramparts (1.4 km), the famous Sillon beach (700m), and the Saint-Malo train station (400m). For a few days, a few weeks or even several months, come and enjoy Saint-Malo with Hostin'Malo 2D !

Built in the 1930s, the building was completely renovated between 2019 and 2021 and now comprises 6 very comfortable apartments, from T2 to T4. The owners used noble, environmentally-friendly materials, and paid particular attention to heat and sound insulation. The character of the old building has been preserved, but all the apartments have been extensively renovated. As a result, each apartment has become a haven of peace, perfectly furnished and equipped for visitors who choose to put down their suitcases here. On-site laundry facilities include a shared washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is no car parking, but there is public pay parking on the street and free public parking 500m away.
Bicycles can be parked in the building's private courtyard (please bring your own bike lock).
Hostin'Malo 2D is an adorable apartment of around 35m², completely renovated, bright, quiet and very clean, located on the 2ᵉ floor (no elevator). It offers a separate bedroom with high-quality bedding (size 160x200), storage space and a shower room. A beautiful, fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle...) will give you perfect independence. The kitchen opens onto a dining area and a living room with TV. Attractively decorated and very well equipped, this bright double-glazed apartment can comfortably accommodate 2 people. It benefits from very good soundproofing thanks to its new double glazing.

Arrival (6 min walk from the train station) and check in were a breeze. Apartment was just as it appears in the photos--nicely decorated, simple, casual elegance. Well stocked kitchen. Quite neighbors, safe neighborhood, multiple grocery stores and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Bus stop less than a minute away. Tourist sites (intramuros, the beach, etc.) an easy 15 minute walk. Lots of road noise during the day with windows open; virtually silenced with windows shut.Washer/dryer facility is in the basement (apt. is on what the Europeans call the 2nd floor, but Americans call it the 3rd) and the w/d is in the basement, so there are lots of stairs between you and your laundry. The machines functioned well, were a good size, and were always available when I wanted them, despite many residents in the building. Although I felt safe the entire time I was there (I was alone for about 10 days after my husband returned to the states), people had a habit of leaving the 2 coded doors to the building wide open during the day, which made me a little uncomfortable. I had no issues, however. Overall I recommend the place and would happily return there.
