This place is so adorable. The interior design is tropical-chic, comfortable and the owners have thought of every possible thing you might need (even things we didn't know that we needed!) The views are incredible. During our stay we saw dolphins, manatees and 6 bald eagles. The pool and spa are wonderful. Pine Island is beautiful and the people are so nice. This location is within walking distance to restaurants. In the future, we will rent a golfcart for extra fun! I highly recommend booking this place asap.

The area was very quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor area with the pool & hot tub.. The house was very clean & Florida themed decorations It was nice to have the canal view close. We really enjoyed it. I would recommend it

Lovely Place

This is a lovely retreat house. The decor and ambience is beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere. Easy walk to General Store and restaurants. Felt safe at all times.

Pine Island Get Away

Stayed a week. Enjoyed the location. We saw manatees and dolphins swimming in the channel. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Enjoyed evenings under the stars within the screened in patio.

Great property, extremely clean, and great pool area. Linda was great to work with. As host myself, I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to relax and enjoy the island.

The house was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay. The decorations really gave the Florida vibe. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. St James City is a great little town.

Great stay!

We came from Wisconsin to get a break from winter, and we were not disappointed. The house looks just like the pictures and was very clean and homey. The hot tub and pool were great. We loved being on the canal and even saw some manatees. We enjoyed many local restaurants and took Island Girls Charters to Cabbage Key Island and North Captiva. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. It’s a great stay for couples. We would definitely stay again.

I just wish the property would of had standard cable TV, trying to work through all the different applications was very frustrating and did not give us live news and sports coverage.

Saint James City Gem - Very nice and clean!

We had a really nice stay at the "Blue Marlin"! The house is an extremely clean and newly renovated older Florida home with a larger frontage cul-de-sac lot on a canal. This cleanliness was greatly appreciated as it's how we like our own home. If you appreciate a nice clean home then this is the place. It was just my wife and I and our 2.5mo old infant. I appreciate that they made the exception being a small infant and not children running around which I wouldn't want if it was my house. The place is set up with two master bedrooms and is very spacious and would be perfect place for two couples. The pool area was very nice and we mostly used the jacuzzi. It was a little on the cooler side weather wise when we were there but were able to heat the pool to a comfortable temperature. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances one could need and more. If I were to make a few changes it would be to leave some cupboards empty to be able to store food, have some basic cleaning products/supplies available to those that stay and want to keep it clean, and to remove or be able to cover the camera that faces the pool. There's quite a few cameras around the property. We never did anything or would do more than pg but we found that camera uncomfortable and not necessary for security. With that being said I would most certainly stay there again but would ask to cover that pool area camera.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a perfect week relaxing at this home. It is updated with a nice coastal feel and furnished with everything needed for guests to feel right at home. The pool area and canal views are beautiful and the neighborhood is peaceful. We would absolutely stay again!
