House was very nice, everything was high quality, only had a few issues. Biggest problem wasn’t so much with the house, but really poor communication with the VRBO host - we got no information for check in or check out. I messaged multiple times to ask. Slow or no responses to everything. Only issues in the actual physical house were: 1) elevator didn’t work or maybe it was kept locked so we could not get into it 2) cabinet door was broken with no sign and one of our guests opened it and it immediately fell on his face and cut his chin3) water and ice machine on the fridge - it works, but it doesn’t stop when you release the cup. So water or ice keeps shooting out. We ended up just putting a big piece of tape over it so that no one used it so we didn’t have to keep cleaning the floor up of water and ice.4) bunk beds in the bunk room are definitely only for a kid’s weight - that’s probably on us, we had adults in that room and they got almost no sleep bc of how noisy the beds were with movement & how thin the mattresses were. Ended up trying to take the mattress off and onto the floor and it was slightly better. That being said - entire house is updated and seems new. Kitchen stocked super well for cooking for crowds! Plenty of space and a great setup for groups. Nice and private area!A little more communication from the host would’ve made this week a 110% success… but we had a blast and loved fripp and the house overall.
