Welcoming farm stay

We enjoyed our stay here. We didn't realise the lounge room was in the same room as the two single beds, but it wasn't too hard to work around that in the mornings. Welcoming hosts on a quiet farm.

Super gîte !!!!

Le gîte est fabuleux, c'est un super endroit et les hôtes sont sympathiques. Pour pêche, c'est super endroit, l'étang est privée. Pour les enfants,il y plein choses super au gîte. ( des balançoires, banc à sable, toboggan, une table de ping-pong, et même une piscine). Le chien est super gentil. Je le conseil vivement.

Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature

Accueil et accompagnement durant le séjour des plus chaleureux de la part de la propriétaire qui nous a fait profiter et partager sa passion pour l’élevage des bovins et volailles dans le plus strict respect du bio. Gîte très reposant et literie impeccable. Avons profité des équipements sur place : piscine, tennis table et terrain de boules. Les animaux sont sur ce très grand domaine mais ne présentent absolument aucune nuisance (ni bruit, ni odeur) susceptible d’effrayer les citadins. Achats possibles sur place de la production (viandes et œufs) dont nous nous sommes régalés. De plus, location idéale pour les parents ayants de jeunes enfants. Une mention spéciale pour le toutou du domaine à savoir le chien Patch, un amour qui vous accompagne mais qui sait respecter votre intimité sans mettre une seule patte dans le gîte. Bref nous recommandons ce gîte.

Luxe vakantiehuis bij boerderij

Mooi en luxe vakantiehuis met veel ruimte buiten met sport en spel mogelijkheden, speelhuisje en toestel voor de kinderen en een (onverwarmd) zwembad. Aardige eigenaar en grootouders. Het huis heeft wel een kleine woonkamer, de slaapkamer beneden is erg groot en kan ook gebruikt worden als woonkamer omdat hier twee banken staan. Airconditioner 2x boven. 2 luxe badkamers. Goede bedden/ matrassen. Het huis is onderdeel van een boerderij wat leuk is voor de kinderen. Je kunt kippen en konijnen voeren en er loopt een aardige hond rond. (Dit was voor onze kinderen wel even wennen omdat ze bang waren voor honden, maar uiteindelijk een goede ervaring omdat ze het een hele lieve hond vonden en over hun angst heen kwamen). Het was er rustig. Er is nog een andere vakantiewoning waarmee het zwembad en speelweide gedeeld wordt. Het huis heeft een klein terras. Het enige minpunt was dat de wifi niet beschikbaar bleek door een storing. Er zou iemand langskomen om dit te verhelpen maar dat is niet gebeurd.

Séjour dépaysant

Même si la météo a un peu gâché notre séjour, nous avons passé un agréable moment... les enfants ont adoré la cohabitation avec les vaches, les poules et même le gentil chien des propriétaires!! :) Comme annoncé dans l’annonce, il y a un bel espace de jeux extérieurs où les enfants (2 et 5 ans) ont joué pendant des heures pendant que les adultes profitaient d’une partie de pétanque sur le terrain prévu à cet effet juste à côté... ;-) Nous avons également apprécié discuter avec les propriétaires de leur travail sur l’exploitation et de leurs pratiques respectueuses de l’environnement tant sur leurs sols que de la manière d’élever leurs bétails. Nous avons pu goûter leurs œufs sur place, reste plus qu’à commander leurs viandes qui je suis sure seront excellentes. Bilan, un endroit où il est fort agréable de s’y arrêtait pour décompresser un peu... (surtout en ce moment)

Heerlijk rustige ligging, perfect met jonge kinderen

We hebben hier 2 heerlijke weken gehad met onze 3 kinderen (8, 5 en 1 jaar). Het is een erg rustige omgeving. In de woning is al het nodige aanwezig. De kinderen hadden buiten ruimte in overvloed, een fijn zwembad en veel spellen tot hun beschikking. In overleg is het ook geen probleem om tot laat in de avond te zwemmen. We hadden de eerste week temperaturen van rond de 40 graden dus het zwembad heeft ons veel verkoeling gebracht. De boerderij heeft zelf een grote groentetuin en kippen dus eieren, groente en fruit kan je elke dag vers halen. De eigenaar was zelf vaak druk op de boerderij maar hun ouders die er ook bij wonen stonden altijd voor ons klaar en niets was te veel gevraagd. Verschillende supermarkten vind je in Mussidan (10 auto minuten) In de directe omgeving zijn Bergerac (25 minuten) en Perigeux (30 minuten) zeker een bezoek waard. Met de kinderen ook nog Chateau de Bridoire bezocht, dit ligt net onder Bergerac en is ontzettend mooi. Hier kunnen de kids meer dan 100 spellen doen in en rond het kasteel. Trek hier een hele dag voor uit. Kanoën op de Dordogne is ook erg leuk, we hebben dit vanuit Gardonne gedaan en is ook redelijk in de buurt. Verder is er nog een groot klimbos 'AccroZarbres' op een kwartier afstand, vanaf 5 jaar, ook een aanrader.

Wonderful house, especially for families

A beautiful, big house with a separate garden, a litte park with a fantastic swimming-pool and various possibilities for children (e.g. ping pong, football, badminton, playgrounds, boccia and animals around). The landlords are very friendly and helpful and gave valuable recommendations. The landscape is beautiful with many, many things to discover and explore. We enjoyed a fantastic holiday and we will return.

Nous y avons passé 15 jours. La région est superbe et le domaine est très bien entretenu! La piscine est très agréable! Le gite est assez fonctionnel, mais cependant quelques matelas demanderaient à être renouvelés. Par ailleurs, nous regrettons de ne pas pouvoir inviter occasionnellement des amis à se baigner dans la piscine.Pour nous, le but des vacances est pouvoir se ressourcer et se sentir chez soi (libre d'inviter des personnes), ce n'est donc malheureusement pas tout à fait le cas.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les plus : La localisation à quelques kilomètres de l'autoroute permet de se rendre rapidement à la fois dans le périgord noir (les Eyzies) et le libournais (St Emilion). La maison est en excellent état. Nous avons 3 ados qui ont bien profité de la piscine (eau à 26) et du parc (filet de badmington, terrain de pétanque-molky, table de ping-pong). Les hôtes sont attentionnés et très sympathiques. Et le chat est gentil, calin et ronronnant. La ferme est très calme (les activités sont éloignées des maisons). Les moins : le débit internet (par satellite) est problématique pour un usage professionnel ou ado (youtube-insta-snap). Préférer la 3G (SFR) qui passe bien.
