The staff had done their maximum for this terrible hotel. The room was smelly. The blanket was having smell of smoking. Lots of of dust and spider web at the rolling curtain. The toilet hole was dirty. Not sleeping well on the sagging mattress. The room telephone indicated that we can dial to reception but it was not working. No room make up service even we indicated this before we went out. The bread served at breakfast was terrible. The hotel was really lack of renovations since its opening and we had real bad experience there.

The stuff was helpfull, and the dishes in the cafe were really good) The Wifi was really bad - not acceptable for a business trip. And I kept puting the sign and asking in reception to not clean my room but every day someoen was doing some cleaning or something in my room when I was coming back at evenings.

Unfortunately very dirty room.

Handy location and cheap but dirty! Room stank heavily cigarette and was dirty! As arrived late had no choice than to accept the room as it was. When mentioned to the receptionist that the room was terrible, she said had no words - but a tiny apology. Shame as this doesn’t represent all Campanile Hotels.

Everything is ok-ish, the room is clean and tidy. However, we left our mobile case wallet in the room as we thought France should be safe we only took our passports and some cash when we left for sightseeing on 7 June. Unfortunately, it was stolen by someone in the hotel who had access to the room. The receptionist did tell us where the police office is and we did make a case. Hopefully, someone who stole our money and credit cards will be returning to us. The breakfast is pretty basic , certainly not worth 9.9 Euro. BTW, Wifi is super slow in this place. I am sure many other people have already mentioned it from Tripadvisor.

Unfortunately, we decided to leave one of our bags in the room but our wallet was stolen. The room is reasonably comfortable but the breakfast certainly isn't worth paying for 9.9 Euro. And the WIFI is super slow, more like 3G.

Slow internet connection. Although available "on call", there is no staff at receiption past 9:30 - 10 pm.

Typically good Campanile

Typical Campanile with reasonably sized rooms and comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. Good evening meal - plat du jour - nothing fancy but tasty. Buffet breakfast with cereals, yoghurts, fruit, breads, jams, meat and cheese. Location is the in an industrial and commercial area and we missed it on first approach as signs were hidden by vegetation.

Good budget hotel

My husband and I passed through Grenoble to go to Italy. This was a comfortable budget friendly hotel. The air was good, but the AC leaked. Luckily it wasn't near any luggage since it happened at night. But I think this is just a rare occurrence. The hotel also has a restaurant, but we didn't try it because of the price (10 euros for breakfast) but if you are a weary traveler in need of a big breakfast, I think you would find it here.
