The Auberge Pourvoirie Isle-aux-Grues is a somewhat rustic venue with an old-time charm and décor. It’s comfy and quiet, and located nearby beautiful beaches and Jean-Paul-Riopelle Nature Reserve (great hikes!). Where it comes to views, it's one of the best locations on the island with spectacular views of St. Lawrence river, islands of the Isle-aux-Grues archipelago, and the north coast. And there is a wreck of the Le Bateau Ivre in sight!

A hidden gem of an auberge on Ile aux Grues, also a hidden gem. Owners and staff extremely welcoming and helpful. The view from the restaurant terrace is one of the finest on the Saint-Lawrence river

Although the staff was friendly and at our service, condition of the hotel was somehow disappointing as rooms cannot be locked. Covid-19 measures dictated by the Quebec government were not followed 100%

The check in procedure was a little chaotic and the WiFi only worked in the common room. The continental breakfast was as expected and the beds were comfortable. The room was cramped, but clean and we did have a view. The hotel seems to be for sale.
