For rent in Provence in the heart of the Luberon in one of the most beautiful regions of France, very pretty old house of 180 m2, recently renovated. Beautiful landscaped garden of 1400 m2 with heated swimming pool of 7 m x 4 m (open from May 1 to October 1). Several terraces fitted out to take your meals or rest in the shade of a pergola. This house has a lot of charm and is located in a green, quiet setting (the house is at the end of a dead end), near the beautiful village of Saignon and the Abbey of Saint Eusèbe
The house can accommodate 9 people.
The house is composed of 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, a small alcove equipped with a 160x200 bed adjoining one of the large bedrooms, a small office with an additional sleeping area, (we can also provide you with a baby bed), 3 shower rooms, one of which is fitted with a bathtub and a shower, a living room with TV, a library lounge, a fitted kitchen.
Linen and cleaning provided. No additional tax.
The house has obtained the classification in 4 stars by the Gîtes de France.

A lovely stay in a beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and we all had such a great time using the amazing kitchen and eating eating outside. The owner and lady who met us on arrival were very kind and helpful. The only downside was some very grumpy neighbours who were very unreasonable about the kids making noise in the pool. This did make us have to constantly worry about the kids being in the pool and limiting their time in there which isn’t great I’m 40degree heat.

Perfect seclusion

We spent 2 weeks at this special house and did not want to leave. Had everything we needed and plenty of space for the 6 of us. The pool gets all day sun and was well used. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet in an idyllic setting! Martine was very accommodating and friendly .

Fantastic family holiday destination!

In mid-September our family spent a week at the lovely provençal ‘mas’ of Monsieur and Madame Prudhomme. We were holidaying as 5 adults and 3 children under 2½. The location was relatively remote, which meant that we never had to worry that the small children might upset or disturb neighbours. They could make as much noise as they liked enjoying themselves. Although the house was off the beaten track it was close to the lovely village of Saignon with a bakery and a couple of lovely restaurants. Apt was at no great distance for larger supermarkets and more restaurants and shops. The area was beautiful. There were sufficient bedrooms for all, including one adjacent to parents’ room for one of the toddlers to sleep in their own bed. Each of the 3 main bedrooms had their own bathroom/en suite. One of the bathrooms had a bath which was a real asset with such small children. A travelling cot was made available for us. Bed linen and plenty of towels were provided. The house accurately matched its description. It was well equipped with everything we could have wanted. There were two lounges meaning that everyone had sufficient space and the dining area was large enough for everyone to sit down together and there was also a child’s high chair. The garden was extensive and well maintained with a choice of seating areas, beside the pool, on the terrace and in shaded parts of the grounds. There were plenty of pool towels provided. The pool had been a major draw for us as a family. At first we felt it was a little cool for a heated pool, but a quick call to the owners and that issue was dealt with immediately. We could not have hoped for more helpful, attentive and responsive hosts. They were at the end of a text or e-mail and responded virtually by return. We had a great holiday in a lovely house, with lovely pool and gardens in a beautiful area. We would not hesitate to recommend Bastide Bellegarde, and would love to return in the future.

Peacefullness

We had a lovely eight days enjoying the quiet of Bastide de Bellegrade. Waking to the sound of birds singing in the morning and enjoying lunch and dinner under the shade of the pergola. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen well appointed for those that like to shop at the markets and cook for themselves. Exploring the surrounding area was a delight and the local village Saignon is lovely.

Lovely property - exactly as pictured

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) stayed at this property for nearly 3 weeks in June of 2016. We found it to be exactly as pictured online - clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. The check in process was easy and we were greeted at the house at the scheduled time. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and the grounds are absolutely lovely. This is a true Provence country home -- though a very short drive to the nearest hilltop town of Saignon, the house is up a windy rural road and one feels immediately relaxed upon entering the gates... exactly what we were looking for on our vacation! We initially struggled with understanding some of the appliances such as the washer and dryer since they are quite different from U.S. machines, but we quickly figured them out after going through the manuals that the owners left available in the house (our French was quite limited, but Google translate helped us to make sense of the manuals without any problem!) We visited many nearby towns on our trip, but Saignon was easily our favorite -- very off the beaten path and truly one of the most charming villages we have ever seen. It has many wonderful restaurants and winding paths to enjoy. Absolutely a highlight of our trip. A note: We were not able to locate the property on Google Earth when we were considering booking the property, but I believe this is only because it is in a remote area - people considering booking the house should rest assured that the property is exactly where the owners describe it to be and the owners provided extremely detailed instructions on how to get to it once we had booked. We truly enjoyed our stay and think back often on our magical vacation. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

This is a beautifully designed spacious Villa with both traditional character and contemporary conveniences. It was a perfect layout for five adults and two young children. The garden was private and the pool was always welcomely warm! We had a week of sun and relaxation based in a wonderful location; we explored the region at our leisure and devoured cherries by the kilo!

De plus la literie est excellente , merci pour nos bonnes grasses matinées La propriétaire MARTINE est très agréable et très disponible Piscine chauffée, le jardin est très bien entretenu Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et à découvrir dans la région, notamment le Colorado provençal, le village de Roussillon et tous les villages perchés, nous n’avons pas eu le temps de tout faire , je pense réserver la même période pour l’année prochaine. Sehr schöner erholsamer Aufenthalt in einem geschmackvoll eingerichteten geräumigen Haus

Das Haus liegt am Ende einer außerhalb des Ortes Saignon gelegenen Sackgasse. Daher ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, allerdings unbedingt die Koordinaten aus dem Mietvertrag ins Navigationssystems eingeben, da Google Maps die Straße nicht kennt. Das Haus ist ideal für 6 Personen- es bietet 3 sehr schöne Schlafzimmer mit Bad. Davon ist ein Schlafzimmer besonders groß, selbiges gilt für das Bad, ein Schlafzimmer liegt im Erdgeschoss mit Zugang zum und Blick auf den Pool. Gut ist, dass die 3 Schlafzimmer unterschiedlich gelegen sind, sodass man 3 Paare separat unterbringen kann: jeweils 2 Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock, aber erreichbar über 2 unterschiedliche Treppen. Eines im Erdgeschoss, abgehend vom Wohnzimmer. Hier durchquert man ein weiteres Schlafzimmer, das aber nur für Kinder/Jugendliche geeignet ist. Köpfe liegen dann in einer Nische. Ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Bett im ersten Stock. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet 2 Wohnzimmer, ein gut ausgestattete Küche mit Induktionsherd und Zugang zu einem Sitz-/Essplatz draußen für 6 Personen. Dort befindet sich ein guter Gasgrill. Der Esstisch innen ist für 6 Personen und im ersten Wohnzimmer am Eingang gelegen. Die Decke im Eingangsbereich/ ersten Wohnzimmer ist relativ niedrig aber ok für Menschen bis knapp 2 Meter Körpergröße. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt- esder Garten ist sehr schön angelegt, der Poll super gepflegt. Automatisches Tor und Beleuchtung abends. Viele Außenplätze und Liegestühle und eine traumhafte Sitzecke auf der Terrasse für den Apéro. Guter Sonnenschutz. Südausrichtung. Insgesamt moderne Ausstattungsmerkmale In den Bädern und der Küche mit Vintagecharme in Deko und Einrichtung. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter kann man sich gut aufhalten. Vieles Positive insgesamt. Die Gegend bietet viele Weingüter, sehr gute Wander- und Radfahrmöglichkeiten, wunderbare Ausblicke auf oder von Mourre Negre oder weiter entfernt Mont Ventoux. Aix-en-Provence ist ca. 80 min entfernt, ähnlich Avignon. Es gibt in der Gehend zahlreiche zauberhafte Dörfer, zB Gordes, Lourmarin, Rousillon und auch Steinbrüche (Ocker) und natürlich Weingüter. Einkaufen in Apt, ca 12 min entfernt. Man braucht das Auto, zu Fuß zum Bäcker gehen ist nicht möglich. Saignon hat ein Café und 3 Restaurants, sind aber auch 7 min mit dem Auto und haben auch Ruhetage. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, die einen besonderen Charme und Großzügigkeit hat. Landleben pur. Wiederholung für uns wahrscheinlich.

Maison agréable mais nombreux désagréments

Nous avons trouvé cette maison agréable mais la beauté d’un lieu ne suffit pas à lui seul à rendre un séjour agréable. En effet, nous avons subi des désagréments qui ont entachés notre séjour et qui cumulés les uns aux autres ont finalement gâchés notre semaine de vacances... Tout d’abord, prudence si vous devez remonter un problème auprès de la propriétaire : Nous avions remarqué que le lave-vaisselle ne lavait pas parfaitement. Nous l’avons signalé au bout de 4 jours après avoir nettoyé les filtres et ailettes, testé plusieurs programmes, utilisé des produits de lavage différents. Le réparateur qui est intervenu à la demande de la propriétaire n’a pas trouvé de panne confirmant -techniquement- le dysfonctionnement bien qu’après son intervention la vaisselle ne sortait toujours pas parfaitement propre (il fallait rincer les verres et relaver une partie des assiettes). Il a été jugé par la propriétaire que nous n’utilisions pas correctement le lave-vaisselle (on en utilise depuis plus de 20 ans quand même) et que notre signalement était « abusif ». En conséquence, la propriétaire a retiré arbitrairement de notre caution le montant de l’intervention du technicien. Concernant l’entretien des espaces verts, le jardinier passe la tondeuse à 9H15, prévoyez qu’il y aura un jour où vous pourrez être réveillés durant votre séjour, « c’est un horaire tout à fait acceptable » selon la propriétaire. Chacun son point de vue, pendant les vacances ce n’est pas le mien et encore moins celui des enfants. Le flipper n’est pas fonctionnel, ne prévoyez pas d’y jouer comme nous l’envisagions de le faire avec nos enfants et nos amis lorsque nous avons choisi de réserver cette maison. Certes, il n’était pas précisé qu’il était fonctionnel, suis-je bête, je n’ai pas demandé ! En effet, après explication de la propriétaire, il s’agit d’un élément de « décoration ». J’ai déjà loué des maisons avec des babyfoot, billards et autres flippers, ils ne servaient pas qu’à la décoration mais aux loisirs des vacanciers pour agrémenter le séjour. Enfin, attention si vous êtes allergiques aux guêpes, il y en a beaucoup autour de la piscine peut être à cause de l’arbre fruitier (?), un Murier qui est planté en proximité immédiate du lieu de baignade. Nous avons été piqués à deux reprises ainsi que le jardinier lors de son passage. Bref des petites choses mais qui mis bout à bout entachent finalement sérieusement un séjour.

Un véritable havre de paix en plein coeur du Lubéron

Nous avons passé 2 semaines de rêve dans le mas de Mr et Mme Prudhomme. Que dire de plus si ce n'est que tout est propice à la détente et à au confort dans un cadre magique La région est bien évidemment magnifique avec des villages typiques à foison et des paysages tout autant superbes La maison quant à elle est largement à la hauteur de la description et des photos fournies sur le site... nous étions 2 familles et chacun a pu profiter de son espace en toute intimité. La décoration est faite avec beaucoup de goût avec un mélange de moderne et de vintage qui apporte un charme certain à la maison. La climatisation dans les chambres est un plus non négligeable, notamment lors des fortes chaleurs du mois d'aout! Quant à la propriétaire, elle est aux petits soins : fourniture de linge de maison incluant les serviettes pour la piscine pour chacun, venue d'un jardinier et d'un pisciniste chaque semaine.... ... et d'une réactivité exemplaire : un souci avec la pompe de la piscine le vendredi à cause d'un gros orage a été réglé avec changement de la pompe dès le lundi suivant. En bref : que du bonheur! La seule raison qui pousserait à faire moins de compliments : que les propriétaires soient trop sollicités et ne pas pouvoir revenir ! :-)

Karaktervolle villa, van alle gemakken voorzien met prachtige tuin en zwembad. Prettige en professionele ontvangst. Alles goed schoon en zeer complete uitrusting. Eine Oase mitten in der Provence!

Das Haus liegt sehr still gelegen am Ende einer kleinen Sackgasse. Es gibt zwar sehr wenige Häuser drum herum, jedoch sieht und hört man sie nicht. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön: es gibt viele kleinere und größere Sitzplätze, die mit sehr viel Liebe angelegt worden sind. Ein Pool und gemütliche Liegen zieren die Wiese. Diese haben wir jedoch auf Grund des Wetters nicht nutzen können. (Ende April / Anfang Mai) Das Haus selber ist sehr großzügig und geräumig. Es hat drei große, schöne und helle Zimmer, zusätzlich zwei kleinere. Für jedes größere Zimmer gibt es ein sehr modernes und komfortables Badezimmer mit Regendusche und teilweise Badewanne. Es ist ideal geeignet für drei Familien / Parteien. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist wirklich großartig: die Küche voll bestückt inkl. Spühlmaschine und sehr schnell reagierendem Herd. Töpfe, Pfannen, Kochutensilien ... alles vorhanden! Das Wohnzimmer war für uns überhaupt nicht zu dunkel. Besonders bemerken möchte ich die Sauberkeit sowie die guten Betten inkl. "echter" Decken. Es war selbst für mich mit Rückenbeschwerden sehr gemütlich!! Insgesamt würde ich das Anwesen nicht nur sehr empfehlen, sondern auch zu jeder Zeit gerne wieder mieten. Wir haben uns unglaublich gut erholt und vermissen die Nachtigallen am Abend und den Pirol am Morgen. Vielen Dank, dass Sie dieses Kleinod vermieten!

Herbstsonne im Luberon

Wir sind eine Gruppe von 6 Erwachsenen, die den Luberon erwandern wollten und fanden das Haus ebenso schön vor wie beschrieben. Es ist traumhaft gelegen, großzügig und sehr gepflegt. Trotz der späten Reisezeit (Ende Oktober) konnten wir Schwimmbad und Terrasse nutzen. Es war ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Rundwanderungen im Luberon. Das Haus ist wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Es war wunderschön in dem tollen Haus von Madame Prudhomme.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe genossen. Die Matratzen zum Schlafen waren sehr gut. Die Ausstattung der Küche war völlig ausreichend und funktionsfähig. Herzlichen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!

Sehr abgelegenes Ferienhaus ,für Ruhesuchende perfekt.Schöner Garten mit gemütlicher Sitzecke.

Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön mit gemütlicher Sitzecke.Im Hausinneren ist es etwas düster ,Zimmeraufteilung ist allerdings sehr gut ,sodaß man mit 2 Familien entspannt Urlaub machen kann.Insgesamt ist das Objekt sehr weit abgelegen.Wer Ruhe sucht ist genau richtig .
