This hotel is tucked away in the Indian country side. It is a wonderful spot if you want to just sit back and relax. The hotel and grounds are spotless. If you are looking for things to see and do, this may not be the best location for that. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The massive locks on the door are quite tricky to open and close. Breakfast and dinner were very good, but I found the service a bit on the slow side. There is a beautiful pool, if that's something you want to do. It was not very business when we were there. There are a few shops that dot the road. If you want to see how most of Rural India lives, then take a walk down the road. It's fasincating. The Jain temple is the big attraction in this area. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stopover.
The hotel is beautifully tucked away 3 km from the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple. The grounds overlook a small rivulet. The rooms are categorised as deluxe and deluxe suite, the only major difference being that the suites have a bathtub in the ensuite bathroom. All the rooms are differently styled. We stayed in a swing themed room where the four poster bed was actually a swing. The rooms are much larger than standard hotel rooms and extremely comfortable. They are all decorated in Rajasthani culture. The hotel has a lovely centre courtyard which is a nice reminder of erstwhile kothis and havelis They have small plunge pool and a spa The lawns are huge and perfect for an evening snack or morning tea The terrace is also open to guests which give a wonderful view of the beautiful Aravalli hills The service is par excellence, every request is met with a smile and always accommodating. We had only breakfast at the hotel which was average so cant really judge the food. The only drawback is that TV in the rooms are positively ancient and the rooms have a strange smell maybe due to humidity and dampness Loved our stay.Strongly recommend others to visit the place for a nice weekend break
We booked it through Hotels.com, when we reached there they said we have received booking for just 4 adults, were we have already paid for 6 people, they said that's not our concern you have to talk to hotels.com, when i asked to talk to there manager they say he sits in Udaipur. 2 Twin sharing beds means 2 Single beds according to them. Top Room on the terrace is very beautiful but monsoon weather its leaking from the top. Room Service is good. Swimming pool is awesome.
We stopped here en route Kumbhalgarh for lunch. We'd to wait a fair bit to be given a table. In their defense, we were a large party. Once seated, the service was quick & the food was decent. The premises are what I liked bit - huge & green. The grounds have fountains, seating, swings etc. I can imagine it taking a beautiful hue in the evenings. Outside, there was a vintage car on display which was gleaming.
Stayed in suite. Had jacuzzi , but no bath robe , no slippers . Dental kit denied intially but got after escalating. These are basics which one expects in a suite. Biggest problem , hotel had in room dining menu for 11.00 pm to 7.00 am . Order given at 12.30 pm and hot denied after 15 minutes of taking order that chef has gone back. We slept hungry.
Neat and clean room.. friendly staff..Very comfortable Very cooperative housekeeping Very Well Built. Well Serviced and Maintained The other highlight was the buffet breakfast which had plenty of variety and even had a lot of healthy alternatives
We stopped here for one night in November on the way from Udaipur to Jodhpur so made an ideal stopover on a long journey. The mountain scenery on the way was stunning. It was also close to the magnificent Jain temple(by car). In the late afternoon, we went to the village of Sidra with our driver as there was no walks close by. Worth a visit for the architecture and not at all touristy! The palace itself has beautiful grounds and we had an enormous room with lovely views over the lawns and swimming pool. Our room had an unusual balcony with cushions where you could sit. The lobby area of the hotel was stunning. The swimming pool was lovely for swimming and great for relaxing around. You can go up on roof and sit on cushions and watch the sun go down. Very isolated so you had to eat in the hotel. The menu was ok,but unfortunately my partner was very sick during the night. I had the vegetarian option so not a problem for me. Breakfast was basic and I ate alone!! The Mattress was very firm and the bed was enormous! Lots of pillows etc, and one of the staff came and asked if we wanted the bed made ready for us! There was the usual fridge, hair dryer and tea and coffee. Staff very courteous.
Lovely room, though the swinging bed was, erm interesting. Also a new hotel, the old features that had been transported there were really nice. Hotel nice, food good, nice pool, service good also. The general atmosphere was good.
Visited this property with my family. Had a great stay. Absolutely loved the place and hospitality. Don't have a single complain about this HRH Palace Hotel. Definitely hope to visit this hotel again.
We stayed at the Fateh Bagh in January and thoroughly enjoyed it. We left the hotel in the morning and an hour later the hotel got in touch with our driver to tell him we had left bottles of wine in the fridge (oops!). They sent a staff member in a taxi to deliver them to us an hour away at no charge. Incredible service.
