Amazing hotel and great service

Loved sapa and our stay here. Front desk staff were so helpful in every way and the rooms were fab. Only downside NOT THE HOTELS FAULT! But thought I would review so they know... they booked a sleeper bus for us from sapa (Lao Cai) to halong bay, the company they used was awful and left us broken. Not only did they keep us waiting in a ticket office with their friend/relatives being loud and rude but they drove us to a petrol station to wait for the bus. once aboard they kept turning the lights on and off so we couldn't infact sleep, despite the fact by this point it is now night time. But the dropped us in halong bay, at the side of the road at 2:30am NOT 5am LIKE WE WERE ASSURED! WE HAD NOWHERE TO SLEEP AND WANDERED HALONG BAY FOR HOURS, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TRYING TO FIND A HOTEL TO TAKE US. I wish I knew the name of the bus company, I hope the hotel knows so they stop using them, they are not a good company and I don't want the bad experience to taint anybody else's time at golden villa. We loved Golden villa and sapa, I can't recommend enough, just be careful if you travel to halong bay.

Buen hotel calidad precio. En el centro muy cercano a todo. Tiene tours de trekking en Sapa. Lavandería. Y consigna. Lo único que son muy estrictos con el horario. A las 11:55 te están esperando fuera para limpiar la habitación.

Klasse Service

Da wir mit dem Nachtbus nach Sapa gefahren sind, waren wir am Tag unserer Anreise sehr früh im Hotel. Dort wurde uns angeboten kostenlos zu Frühstücken. Da unser Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig war, wurde uns für einen Zeitraum von ca. 20 Minuten ein anderes Zimmer gegeben, in dem wir uns umziehen und frisch machen konnten. Am Tag unserer Abreise wurde uns nach dem Check Out ebenfalls noch mal ein Zimmer zum Duschen zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Personal war freundlich und hat uns Tipps zu Trekking Routen gegeben ohne uns dabei eine Tour mit Guide aufschwatzen zu wollen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und das Bad war modern. Es hätte jedoch ein bisschen sauberer sein können. Beim Frühstück wurden viele asiatische Speisen angeboten.

Rushed Clean-Up for Room Turn Over

First check-in, brought us to a room that was not the one I booked (significantly smaller and confined). When we checked into the other room, pillows and sheets were obvious that it wasnt changed from previous guests.
