For those preferring a car-free holiday, there are very good public transport links. As well as miles of scenic walks round the island, there are some lovely sandy coves, bays and beaches, including the popular resort of Ryde which is a 10-minute drive. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile away.

Pleasant stay
Ok but could do with a deep clean especially in the bathrooms and freshen up the decor. The gravel road very noisy and we were also disappointed there was no nearby walking access to the water that we could find. But overall a nice stay

Everything we needed
It was cold when we arrived but warmed up once we put the heaters on. Well equipped kitchen, good showers, fast broadband. We had all we needed for a winter break.
