The apartment is part of a well-kept apartment building in the center of Rußbach in the middle of the Dachstein-West ski area.
In the immediate vicinity of the apartment there are two supermarkets, post office, bank, church, some restaurants, the town hall, tourist information and the ski slope. High leisure offer in winter and summer for singles, couples + families + groups.

The apartment was renovated in spring 2012.
With a fully equipped kitchen, it's great for self-catering. And if you don't feel like cooking, you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner served in the restaurant, which can be accessed directly through the house.
The apartment has a balcony, from here you can see the ski slope.

With its 4 beds, it is suitable for single couples as well as for families. A high quality large double bed and a sofa bed are available.
However, there is no separate bedroom. Instead there is a combined living room and bedroom.

In the hallway there is a sauna, in the basement a heated ski room as well as a washing machine and dryer. A small safe is available in the apartment for valuables.

Wonderfull stay

We had a wonderfull stay at the appartment. It had a great seating area, well equipped kitchen and good beds for the adults. The sofabed is ready for change, but besides from that the kids slept great! Thanks Axel!

Das Apartment ist klein, aber fein. Schlicht eingerichtet, praktisch und hat alles, was man für ein paar Tage Skifahren mit Kindern braucht. Der Schrank im Ski-Depot erspart das Schleppen, aber die Liftstation ist ja eh nur weniger Gehminuten vom Apartment entfernt. Fehlendes Internet und kaum Handyempfang können sehr erholsam sein (finden die Erwachsenen). Die Sauna ist ein weiteres Plus und war in unserer Woche immer leer. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich, die Schlüsselübergabe auch.

Klein und kompakt

Die Ferienwohnung war für 4 Personen klein und kompakt, aber sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für eine Woche Skiurlaub so braucht. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, der Bach vorm Balkon hat angenehm gerauscht, Lebensmittel für den täglichen Bedarf (z.B. Brötchen und Kaspressknödel) gab es direkt nebenan im Laden, Der Ski-Bus hält fast vor der Tür (zu Fuß sind's 10 Minuten), Check-in/Check-out waren unkompliziert. Der eigene Spind für Skier und Schuhe direkt an der Liftstation war super praktisch! Bei der Nutzung der Gemeinschaftssauna gibt es wohl unterschiedliche Ansichten unter den anderen Gästen, wie lange man die Sauna privat nutzen kann. Man sollte einzelne 1€-Münzen parat haben, um die Heizung in Gang zu bringen/halten.

Sehr erholsam...

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Russbach. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, und hat alles was man braucht. Wir waren zu dritt, Mama, Papa und Tochter 4. Die Sauna liegt direkt auf dem gleichen Flur und wir haben sie gern genutzt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und dem Hausmeister waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Danke dafür. Als Hinweis zur Umgebung können wir noch weitergeben, dass es sinnvoll ist im Voraus in den Restaurants zu reservieren, sonst hat man keine Chance einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Tolle Wohnung, super Ausstattung

Wir waren vier Personen - 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (5 und 8 Jahre alt). Die Wohnung haben wir im Winter gebucht und wir waren durchweg begeistert. Super Preis für eine super Lage und tolle Ausstattung der Wohnung. Der Weg zum Skilift mit unseren Kindern hat um die 10 Minuten gedauert, der kostenlose Skibus hält direkt vor der Tür - wenn man denn diesen nutzen möchte. Die Küche hat alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt und selbst Spiele und Bücher waren im Wohnzimmer vorhanden. Auch bei ausgezogenen Sofa / heruntergeklappten Bett hatten wir genug Bewegungsfreiheit und die Schränke bieten viel Platz. Die Sauna im Haus haben wir täglich genutzt und waren auch hiervon begeistert. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, diese Wohnung gebucht zu haben.

Not happy with some facilities and only location was good.

When we arrived, the property was smelly due to locked house. We had to open all doors, windows and exhaust for few hours to be able to get good air. The foldable beds were not at all comfortable. We had back aches. There was no wifi and it was mentioned in the listing. But the owner said that the local municipality hotspot is available. Unfortunately it was not the case and we had to go out of the house 100+ meters to get the signal and most times it was not good.

Kleine aber feine Wohnung

Wir fahren immer wieder gerne nach Rußbach. Hier kann man die schöne, idyllische und ruhige Gegend genießen. Es ist alles, was man vor Ort benötigt, direkt vor der Haustür: Wanderrouten, Sesselbahn, Einkaufsmöglichkeit (sehr klein und beschränkt, aber es reicht vollkommen) und Wirtshäuser.

Zweckmäßige "schnuckelige" kleine Ferienwohnung

Sehr angenehme Ferienwohnung in dem gepflegten kleinen Örtchen Russbach am Rande des Dachsteinmassivs. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral . Der rauschende Russbach, der direkt vor dem Balkon "vorbeirauscht" stört in keiner Weise.

Sehr schöne Ski Woche

Das Appartement ist sehr gemütlich, für eine Familie wie wir, zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder (8,14) ausreichend, auch wenn das Schlafsofa etwas kuschelig war :-) Ein Laden für alles, was man braucht ist gleich gegenüber der Wohnung und auch verschiedene Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Talstation der Gondelbahn kann man in ca. 10 min. zu Fuss erreichen oder auch den kostenlosen Skibus nutzen, der direkt vor der Haustür hält und alle 30 Minuten fährt. Ein Schrank im Skidepot an der Talstation gehört auch zur Wohnung. Perfekt! Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Gemütliche Wohnung in hübschem, ruhigem Dorf

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Vom Balkon aus blickt man direkt auf den Rußbach, der in der ansonsten sehr ruhigen Lage die einzige Geräuschquelle ist. Rußbach ist ein kleines, malerisches Dorf. Einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt es direkt gegenüber der Wohnung. Die Gegend eignet sich gut zum Wandern und ist auch im Sommer ein lohnendes Ziel.
