obnoxious lighting at night... was hoping to come to maine to see some stars... however maybe lawyers insist on such lighting...however can be done in a better way
Great location in the cute little town of Bethel. Lovely, historic inn with a lot of character.
Small dated room. Overpriced.
Great place to stay for the weekend. Following proper precautions which is appreciated. Very friendly and helpful!
We had a great stay with a friendly staff aong with a full breakfast.
No respect for Military or relief on early checkout due to snowstorm & 5 hour commute home. Lining not changed / room cleaning skipped my room completely. Gave an excuse as that the deadbolt was locked which meant privacy when in fact they took the time to unlock it look inside then leave it unlocked. The woman at the desk gave me no inclination that I would not get one night refunded and said I needed to call Orbiz. Hidden fees of almost $300. Thanks but you won't see me there again! Stay away.
We requested a room for 2 adults 2 kids and expected a roomy and inviting room for what we paid for. When we walked in,what a disappointment! Room was sub standard for the price we paid. Outside door needed maintenance and couldn't open it. Had to push hard to open. Then the tv didn't work. Went to call front desk and phone didn't work. Beds were springy and uncomfortable. When I complained about the outdated room, she forwarded me to the manager who immediately addressed the problems to our satisfaction. We were given an upgrade with a studio room which we were very happy with! We were very happy with the way it was handled.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. Please refer to your confirmation from Orbitz referring to our cancellation policy and fee schedule. The fees you are referring to are listed on your confirmation from Orbitz and are noted at the time of reservation. We have made every attempt to reconcile this issue with you and offered you a credit for the remaining portion of your stay. It is unfortunate that we were unable to come to an amicable solution.

Thank you for your feedback Ian. I am not exactly sure what lighting you are referring to but our views from our resort grounds are some of the most spectacular. We are sorry that you did not get a chance to explore our resort grounds or the town of Bethel. Maybe on your next visit. Thank you for staying with us.
