States on Hotels.com this hotel does not chsrge for service dogs. I was charged 10 00 fee and an argument from the male st desk that I was wrong znd they chsrge for all pets. I was given a room with handicap bathroom. I asked to change. Said he could not move me because hecwss fully booked. Not true. I checked online after my request and yhey had 8 rooms available. 00

The cliche ‘I’ve never reviewed before but..!’ - This property was nothing like advertised. It was like a block of council flats, very noisy with doors banging. The cot for the baby was very mouldy with no sheet. The shower was sort of half way on the wall so came out sideways rather than water coming down onto my (short!) body. It was like a swimming pool with a drain in the middle. The wallpaper had all come off and was covered in mildew and damp. The bedroom had some weird boudoir theme. The linen was white and clean thankfully. Felt a little vulnerable there and was glad we were leaving at 6am to move on.

We arrived late and the front desk staff was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed before retiring to our room. Parking is on site, just across the road. The breakfast was delicious with several hot and cold food options.

Good bed but too far from anything

The front guest girl was very rude when we asked for help since we went there by train and the hotel is very far from everything. 20 km from Mont Saint Michel. No taxi or bus available we were in trouble to take the train station. We asked for help but they didn’t give any help. If you go there you must rent a car.

BED BUGS!

The location and the hotel itself is great but at 3:30 am we woke up to BED BUGS in our bed. My wife and I were unable to sleep all night and we could not ask for a new room as the front desk is closed at night. Alas, we had to bear being bitten (my wife was bitten 12 times). We tried to find new blankets in the closet as our blanket was infested only find dead bed bugs on there. It seems like they have had this issue for a while but continue selling their rooms. The scariest part is that bed bugs transfer into the luggage easily. We have been worried about bringing them home. The subsequent morning we informed the hotel reception and were met with a sarcastic 'how did it get there?' There was no apology. The customer service was terrible, the front desk lady was looking at our faces without reaction as we were showing her pictures. It seemed as if she was just waiting for us to leave. Overall, the location and the hotel is itself is great, but book at your own risk. Photos below.

Modern, nice hotel. Located in a good location near to Mont Saint Michel ("near" when you have a car). It's a small hotel, in a very quiet place, with good parking and a beautiful landscape. I would stay there again. Something important is that it does not have an elevator so heavy bags could be difficult. Simple breakfast.

RUDE receptions

I don’t usually write reviews, but this freaking hotel really pissed me off, the reception lady during the check out was so RUDE! The guy checked us in was pretty nice, and I asked about the breakfast price twice before I decided to eat there the next morning...the guy told me kids under 10 are free, but when I was checking out after breakfast...and saw the bill was charged for 4 people, my 4yr old son and 7yr old daughter literally only ate a bowl of cereal and got charged...so I tried to reason with the reception lady, she wouldn’t even bother to listen to me, kept on saying “no no....kids no free same price as adults” and I told her that the guy checked us in said it twice kids UNDER 10 is free, that’s why we decided to eat breakfast there!” Suck a rip off.....this hotel is pretty beat up, and towels was yellowish, no AC! If u open the windows all the bugs and mosquitos will be in ur room sleeping with u! Worst experience EVER!!!! Would never ever go back again!

Comfortable, quiet, and classy hotel that is a better value than the options closer to Mont Saint Michelle. It had a big bathroom with a bathtub. The breakfast is pricey (11€/ea) compared to similar breakfasts, but they did have hard boiled eggs and a fig tart(?).

Read this. Then look for somewhere else.

Not impressed at all. I booked because it was 32 degrees outside and wanted air con in room. Completely useless air on after 2 hours nothing, reception checked it, complained told it was normal, so shut window, room got hotter and was unbearable. Very characterless hotel, bedspread had large white stain in it, don’t ask! If you opened window, smelt of pesticides and manure from adjacent farm. No kettle or facilities. Hardly slept a wink, would have preferred to sleep in car. Good job I stayed in a top notch hotel previous night.
