The best family hotel in Croatia. Children were very satisfied, because they have a lot of amenities and activities, especially game room and indoor sport swimming pool. Water was for us warm enough (about 28 degrees C), because we know that this is not a thermal resort with hot water in swimming pools. They have one of the best animation teams. Rooms are big enough for all kind of families. We really enjoyed Rovinj old town view from our rooms. They also have quite big relax/wellness area, where adults can relax when children play in playing area. Great full board service with wide range of dishes and non-alcoholic beverages included. Everybody can find something to eat here. We highly recommend this hotel for family holidays in winter and in summer. All staff is very nice and helpful.

If you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday this aint the place, but is it fabulous for families. Just back after two weeks with the family with 4 kids ranging from 1 to near ly 4. They had a ball and cant speak highly enough of the amenities for them first class. We were full board and have to say it was the best buffet style meals we have encountered anywhere, very impressed. plus you can change 1 meal per day at the other pool and beach bars where the food is prepared to order. Pizzas to die for. We spent most of our time and the kids pool area which was very safe and the kids loved it. A special mention to the staff at the pool bar/restaurant who were excellent and very friendly. A visit to Rovinj is a must, very picturesque town, had a couple of meals there which were excellent. All in all would recommend the hotel for a family holiday.

5 stars if they ever get round to fixing reception. Truly awful experience and I am dreading checkout time. Amazing and friendly staff, great facilities, great food. Remember to bring you wetshoes for the pebble beaches.

What a great hotel! The pictures do not do it justice. We've stayed at many family hotels and all-inclusive hotels and I can honestly say that in Croatia, this was the best. Highlights: excellent food with accommodating staff that helps with food allergies, high tech kid's play area with lots of activities, staff overall was very nice (the upstairs bar waitress remembered my favorite drink and the kid's club staff were EXCELLENT) and the room was bigger than we thought. The hotel was very clean, bigger than we expected and with lots to keep everyone as busy as they wanted to be. With such a great kid's club, we had all the time in the world for ourselves! BONUS! We highly recommend the hotel and will be back next year. Thanks to Amarin for making our stay so lovely.

We stayed for one week with our 3 year old daughter and had a fantastic time! As many other reviews state, the hotel is completely set up for families with young children - from the climbing nets and rocking horses in reception to the kids gym and spa treatment menu, playgrounds and kids zone. The room was modern, spacious and clean and we had a nice view of the sea and pools - overall the room was pretty quiet considering that most people have children in the hotel. We had lunch one day at the beach side restaurant - the food was good, but service was very slow. The other times we ate in the buffet restaurant or took the boat across to Rovinj. We are not usually a fan of buffet restaurants, but the quality of the food was very high. It was always fresh and staff were always replenishing everything even up to closing time. Our daughter loved the fact that she could select from the children's hot buffet section and that they had a chocolate fountain and ice cream at dinner. The location is lovely, right by a private pebble beach with views across to Rovinj and the hotel is set in lovely grounds with lots of playgrounds to explore. There isn't anything in the immediate vicinity, but the boat to town only takes 10 mins and as we were only there for one week, we didn't venture any further. The children's pool was a great depth with sprinklers and a slide - there is also a lovely shaded baby pool and lazy river which we enjoyed. We didn't use the indoor pools or adult pool (children are allowed in, but it's very deep) but these also looked good. We did go to the mini disco and clown show during our stay which was fun and they have cartoons playing regularly (mainly in German) which our daughter enjoyed for short periods. We had a drink in the bar every night which has a nice outdoor terrace - the bar is nice, but service was quite slow at times. Overall this is a great hotel if you're looking for an easy holiday in a beautiful part of the world with children. We are not usually a fan of all inclusive/full board, but we all enjoyed it so much that we may book again for next year. Couple of suggestions for the hotel - put children's pillows in the rooms as the pillows are far too big and there was no other option for the pull out beds. Also, it would be nice to have the toilet training steps in the rooms as our daughter couldn't reach the sink - I know these were in many of the toilets throughout the hotel. All the extras supplied for babies are fab!

Stayed at the Amarin Family for a week with our two kids (9 months and 3.5 yrs old). Hotel was modern and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Kids & baby club was very well run. LOVED all the outside play areas & paths. The ramps in the hotel is a brilliant idea and makes the hotel very pram friendly! Great for burning off all those calories! Location was great - quiet but taxi boat close by to take you to Rovinj (stunning town!). Outside pools were freezing but the indoor pools were fab! There were toddlers/babies everywhere so dinner time was extremely noisy and a little chaotic, it would have been nice to visit one of the a la carte restaurants but unfortunately they were closed as end of May is not peak season. Food at the buffet restaurant was very good on the whole - loved all the different fish! Some food were terribly salty e.g. roast potatoes and some of the vegetables so had to be selective with which food to give to the baby (the baby station is a great idea but didnt work for us as our baby eats ‘proper’ food and refuses to be spoon fed!). We had warm weather for the first half of the holiday and temperature in room was 23degrees. Unfortunately the air con throughout the hotel was broken - a nightmare for our baby as she was too hot and couldn’t sleep well. We were told to leave the patio door open which then meant noise from neighbours/kids outside which kept everyone up. The air con worked but the weather changed, thankfully the hotel had plenty to do indoors for the kids and they especially enjoyed the bouncy net area. Highlights of our holiday was 1) visiting Rovinj numerous times on the taxi boat 2) hiring the hotel mountain bikes with child seats to complete the waymarked cycle route and seeing the beautiful Croatian countryside 3) sipping wine with a book, looking out to sea at the bar down by the beach (with the kids enjoying themselves at the kids club!). Improvement: considering the hotel is rammed with toddlers, the evening entertainment was a let down. The mini disco was on every other night and it is usually our boy’s highlight of every holiday, however the disco started late at 8pm, way past our boy’s bedtime! If dinner time started earlier than the current rime of 6:30 then maybe the mini disco could be at a more child-friendly time?! Overall, we would certainly consider coming back to this hotel.

Where do I start? Perfect location, beautiful pools and gardens, amazing helpful friendly staff, fantastic food, contemporary clean rooms... the list goes on. There is so much for the kids to do, so many parks you can even borrow a scooter off the hotel for your little one to burn off all that ice cream after dinner. You don’t even have to entertain your kids in the bar area as there are rocking horses and a maze net for the kids to play on in the reception. No stairs as there’s a spiral ramp in the centre of the hotel. Amazing place, we will be back definitely. Thank you for making our holiday perfect 😍

Truly the best!! Starting from entrance and net area, restaurant with baby corner, stokke chairs, food that every kid adore, baby gym, amazing kid corner with different types of entertainment, pools, and all areas around that are really great, for kids!!

we had a great time at amarin. food and service is excellent! beach area we loved and also the park is huge, well maintained. for kids it is a paradise and that is how the hotel is set up! here some points we think the hotel could improve: currently no programms for adults, i.e. yoga classes or other exercise classes there are always and permnately kids around which is fine we also have a daughter but to be honest an area with adults only would be also nice! taste is different, we just dont like carpets which are all over and the small tiles are also not a big favour, rooms look like kids rooms and a little bit too white. indoor kids pool felt quiet small, reserved tables would be also nice, was quiet crowded! we will most likely come back but i am wonder how long this hotel can keep the quality standard, we saw some wear already!

First class family hotel, However take care if as a pensioner you have mobility issues. However it is an extremely clean hotel good food and friendly staff It is first class for spar kids clubs and sauna facility for parents Pushchair friendly Food first class
