Campanile Hotel Gouda

IT'S a 3 star Campanile stated the website,, so I never expected to be welcomed with such warmth. but seriously , my 4 day stay there was remarkable, the food was really good, the rooms were cleaned daily, as I already said the entire staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable time, as my old friend and I were there to watch the Triathlon, we only needed a base camp as such, this place was much more. I will be going back there before Christmas, I really hope the management at HQ realise just how good the Campanile Gouda team are.

Well well well... let's say for a Dutch hotel it's one of the cheapest which is already a miracle. So like anything when you get cheap price you get cheap room. The cleaning seemed to have been done a while ago. Soap wasn't recharged in the bathroom. Hotel is located in industrial area close to highway so it's bit noisy but once doors close it's ok. Spiders will welcome you on the balcony. There is not AC so and not possible to open any window. For the rest it's basic room. Beds are comfy enough. It's a campanile...

When travelling on business you just want a good clean and friendly place to drop anchor overnight. This fits the bill not difficult to find off the motorway and a friendly welcome from all staff. Very adequate evening meal -you don't expect cordon bleu. Room clean and bed comfortable. Yes you may say these are the basics but not everyone gets them right. Thank you Campanile.

Really a nice and quit place, a few miles from city, Perfect for seeing both Amsterdam and den Haag. It is possible to park free at the Campanile in Amsterdam and 2 min away you can take the Metro to city The staff on the Hotel were vey positive, smiling and helpfull

Nice budget hotel very clean Restaurant is ok menu a bit limited we only stayed three nights. Breakfast very good with wide selection of cold meats and cheese along with cereals and pastries also scrambled egg and bacon. Bit noisy on one night due to kids in a room downstairs being allowed to run around the landings we didn't complain. We did have an issue with the shower head coming loose and spraying water around the bathroom but the receptionist grabbed a mop and bucket when we asked for one and.cleaned it up for us. Very friendly reception staff Lot of mosquitos when we stayed as there is standing water / pond outside room would have benefitted from a/c hotel starting to look tired and needs a refurb not of a premier inn standard in the uk but still competitively priced

I recently stayed at the hotel for over a week with my wife and daughter for a cycling based holiday. As with my previous stay the friendly and helpful staff more than made up for a fairly modest sized room with adequate rather than luxury fittings. Despite being near a main road we slept well, found the bed comfortable and the room and hotel generally very clean and well kept. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and really good service. We were allowed to keep our bikes in a secure location overnight and the hotel is really well located in regard to the Holland cycle network. Getting in to Gouda is easy by bus with a stop just a few minutes from the hotel and costs 2euros for a 10 minute trip. We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel welcome by everyone in reception and the restaurant.

Stayed for 3 nights during cycling holidays. Hotel is clean and although a limited food menu what we did eat was good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly.Located on industrial estate so not within walking distance but only 10 mins on a bike.

More of an American motel style as opposed to an actual hotel. Very comfortable double bed. Good cleaning service. For the people that are complaining about the thin curtains, there is a switch in order to move the shutters. Overall a good stay as I stayed there for 8 days.

Went here for a short night stay. I am not a big fan of the chain and only use it if there is nothing else reasonably priced around. This was the case and there ended up here. Don't expect anything else than a basic room close to the highway, when done so you won't be disappointed by the price.

Ideal for one night stay, good for short shop over after long drive. Small rooms and basic facility. Breakfast is good. Parking and wifi are free. Hotel surroundings are nice. Nearest kiosk is a shell gas station which is walk able distance.
