Stayed in a 2 storey apartment, had plunge pool heated in private back yard, kitchenette & cozy bed. Our room was awesome, clean & smelt very nice. My kids loved this place especially the heated swimming pool & bbq. Friendly helping office staff. Highly recommended & we would definitely stay here again.!
After a late afternoon Hobbiton Tour. We drove about 30 min to Wylie Court. We had the 2 levels motel, I double bed on the ground floor, with kitchenette and a private jacucci at the backyard. The upper floor can sleep 2-3 persons. Spacious and comfortable with parking right in front of motel. Breakfast with 2 options is available if you preorder the night before. Good location, great for group & family stay. Free wifi.Nice and helpful staffs at checkin reception.
Wonderful stay plenty of room for family not the biggest car parks but still ok, staff were very nice outside swimming area was a hit for the children the private room spa is a must especially during the colder months just kick back and relax. Well I seem to have trouble uploading photos so yeah it was very nice.
Stayed for 2 nights on tour of NZ Had a clean room very comfortable close to all local attractions thoroughly recommended Staff very friendly offering suggestions on eating places that were taken up and appreciated
This is the 3rd time I have stayed here at Wylie Court. The rooms are clean and very spacious. All rooms I've been in have had beds on the main floor as well as up in a loft. Beds are comfortable and water pressure and showers are good. Many rooms have hot water spas in patio area. WiFi is pretty reliable and speed is decent. I like being able to park right in front of my room as I often have plenty of luggage. I only have a couple minor issues. The curtains are too thin, not blocking enough light and when here during the hotter summer months, it can get pretty warm in the rooms. When I return the next time for business I will for sure return to this hotel.
The staff were fantastic to deal with, we were rather delayed in arriving so a staff member waited to help us check in after late check in had ended. The place was comfortable and the spa was a wonderful end to a long day of driving.
A clean and comfortable motel very suitable for a small family. The curtains are thin and not with block out. The bed us right next to the doors and windows so you are sleeping in the bright courtyard and parking lights. A bit hard during holidays
We stayed in a studio apartment and enjoyed having such a large room. Downstairs is a lounge area with a kitchenette for if you felt like cooking instead of going out. Upstairs was a mezzanine level with a large bed. Outside, behind the room, was a private, undercover, decked area with an built-in heated spa which was a great addition. The hotel was easy to find as it is on a main road with many other hotels and the room was quiet, being back away from the main road.. Our only issue was that the WiFi was a bit slow and would drop out frequently. Out mobile data and signal would also randomly drop out in certain areas of the room but would be fine outside and elsewhere in town.
Stayed one night with our two teenage boys in school holidays, boys enjoyed the spa and outdoor pool. Unit was clean, and easy to heat up in the cool temperatures we had. Good little kitchenette. Easy check in and out.
2nd time staying at Wylie Court. First time in 2004 with a memorable experience and looked forward to return now (13 years later). Room and everything else in top condition and always had dry towels - thanks for that, BUT the reception staff's (possible owners) grumpy and unapproachable attitude put us of of ever returning the Wylie Court. Never start off with customers feeling unwelcome, especially when you have so much going for you!
