This is the 3rd time I have stayed here at Wylie Court. The rooms are clean and very spacious. All rooms I've been in have had beds on the main floor as well as up in a loft. Beds are comfortable and water pressure and showers are good. Many rooms have hot water spas in patio area. WiFi is pretty reliable and speed is decent. I like being able to park right in front of my room as I often have plenty of luggage. I only have a couple minor issues. The curtains are too thin, not blocking enough light and when here during the hotter summer months, it can get pretty warm in the rooms. When I return the next time for business I will for sure return to this hotel.
The staff were fantastic to deal with, we were rather delayed in arriving so a staff member waited to help us check in after late check in had ended. The place was comfortable and the spa was a wonderful end to a long day of driving.
A clean and comfortable motel very suitable for a small family. The curtains are thin and not with block out. The bed us right next to the doors and windows so you are sleeping in the bright courtyard and parking lights. A bit hard during holidays
We stayed in a studio apartment and enjoyed having such a large room. Downstairs is a lounge area with a kitchenette for if you felt like cooking instead of going out. Upstairs was a mezzanine level with a large bed. Outside, behind the room, was a private, undercover, decked area with an built-in heated spa which was a great addition. The hotel was easy to find as it is on a main road with many other hotels and the room was quiet, being back away from the main road.. Our only issue was that the WiFi was a bit slow and would drop out frequently. Out mobile data and signal would also randomly drop out in certain areas of the room but would be fine outside and elsewhere in town.
Stayed one night with our two teenage boys in school holidays, boys enjoyed the spa and outdoor pool. Unit was clean, and easy to heat up in the cool temperatures we had. Good little kitchenette. Easy check in and out.
2nd time staying at Wylie Court. First time in 2004 with a memorable experience and looked forward to return now (13 years later). Room and everything else in top condition and always had dry towels - thanks for that, BUT the reception staff's (possible owners) grumpy and unapproachable attitude put us of of ever returning the Wylie Court. Never start off with customers feeling unwelcome, especially when you have so much going for you!
Nice tidy hotel with great pool for the kids. Unfortunately the family 2 bedroom room did not have a spa and was noisy with the upper floor guests stomping around so recommend you try for a top floor room.
Sadly got here late at night after 12am but still quietly enjoyed the private spa and underfloor heating! Extremely clean, spacious, warm & our private spa under the stars was sublime, I would highly recommend! Oh, & we checked out late (partner's time blindness sorry) & were still met with an enthusiastic and pleasant reception staff, so thanks! Only gripe, no dogs allowed but hey, first world problems right... Highly recommend!
Finding family accommodation for 5 can be a battle. Wylie Court had great family units with plenty of space for us all. Units had underfloor hearing which was amazing, comfortable beds and our unit had a kitchenette and private spa pool. They were keep very clean and tidy. Complex had two playgrounds and the outdoor pool was amazing and heated even when it was 5c outside. Great spot, we will definitely come back.
Have stayed here many times before, however it is now very tied and sadly appears unloved. They ask for top dollar of $180 but you can do better elsewhere. While the main pool is good, the room lacks maintenance like broken switch and cupboard hinges. Couldn't find a cup that wasn't stained and had to scrub them first. Spa pool is already fill and had loose grit on the seats like it hadn't been cleaned. Paintwork is old and tied. Walls very thin, could hear people next door clearly talking, shower and making cuppa. This wasn't good at midnight when trying to sleep. No longer a 4 star and too expensive
