The whole area is characterized by the presence of livestock farms where you can taste the typical Sicilian dairy products: cacio horse cheese, provola cheese and fresh ricotta. The typical Sicilian dishes can be found in many farms and trattorias found in Noto, Rosolini, Modica and Ragusa. Festivals and events are organized both in summer and in winter, such as: the international border cinema festival in Marzamemi in the last week of July, the pachino tomato festival in August, the pozzallo fish festival in August , the festival of the arancino in August and the festival of the must in October at Rosolini.
